From my standpoint.. being a women... I would say I do usually before the guy, but maybe they are better at hiding it? I think you could be right. It is the macho effect we were all cursed with!

Women are known to be more emotional then Men. But I do believe that through the years that has in fact changed for I have noticed that more and more men are more open with their feelings then they were in the past. Were in fact that as far as getting attached emotional now it could be a toss up. But as far as the one that comes unattached faster I still believe that would still be men for they seem to be able to turn their emotions off quicker then women can when it comes to relationships. Not saying that is a bad thing they just seem to be able to forget much sooner and get past it faster then most women can. Yes I said most for at times this situation seems to change from person to person actually sometimes the issues of gender has nothing to do with it but instead how that person was raised seems to have a bearing with how they in fact handle different situations. JMO Good point I am more open with my feelings now than I ever was in the past. Family relations and upbring help with relationship and feeling issues as well.
