I happen to come to the forums as a form of entertainment. And I found that particular comment rather entertaining. Something you need to learn about online social sites is to not take everything personally. We can be very serious or we can be very sarcastic. It is generally a nice mix of both. My 16 yo daughter and my 19 yo son both went out today for first day of buck. My father took my daughter out. I think it was one of the happiest days of his life. He spent three weeks getting ready for it, talking about it, looking forward to it. She didn't get anything, but did get a shot off at a doe. Unfortunately she missed it, but she had a wonderful time bonding with her grandfather.

There is nothing wrong with buying your child a gift as long as you feel he/she deserves it. Plus there are a number of games for wii that promote activity. I would love to have a wii.
