Mad dog 20/20!

Oh god, I can only drink MD 20/20 on the railroad tracks in my old home town or in the middle of a rock dump.

I am in complete agreement with you this year. I can't wait for the holidays to be over. I am not going through anything compared to those of you who have experienced the loss of a loved one. And for those of you that have I am truly sorry for your loss.

I know that whatever stress you have in your life is multiplied during the holiday season. We are undergoing a major restructuring at work and some are going to lose their jobs, while others are going to get promoted into spots that are traditionally held by those who are being ousted. It has created a very stressful work environment. Add to that the terrible economic situation and not being able to get my kids what I feel they deserve for Christmas and I am a complete basket case this year.

What is really weird is that I am in a new relationship and I feel even more alone now than I did all those years that I didn't have a boyfriend. WTF is up with that?

If I am just going out to chill. I want the little dive bar at the corner with a pool table. If I am prowling, I want something with a little more atmosphere.

It's a combination of three things:
The smile they put on my face.
Their ability to make the hands on the clock spin while time seems to stands still.
Possessing the ability of looking attractive without the Tequilla

If you would have stopped after the first two items, I would have been so impressed. Still impressed, but took a little bit of the polish off with the last comment.
was being a wise a@@ after seeing another one that said two shots of Jose is a good start

Well that made me perv you, but you live to far away. Darn.
maybe its a good thing I didn't post the real third item (The amount of time spent thinking about them when they're not around) it would only tease.... the east coast is a waaaays away...

That my dear man, was a tease if ever there was one.

I like to test their manual dexterity as well. If it is off the chain...she is a keeper.

So if a girl turns her back to you says the Pledge or Allegiance while doing the movements to the Itsy, Bitsy Spider, you are a goner?

It used to be in PA that if you were trained as a medical professional that you were protected by a Good Samaritan Law, but I don't know if it still exists.

I have to say that threat of law suit or not, I would risk everything short of my own life to help someone in need.

Besides, you cant get money from the penniless. LOL.

Going to the mall now to get stuff. I have no idea what. My daughter is getting a $6500 trip to China in June, so aside from a digital camera, she is pretty much done.

My son "doesn't care". Big help that is.

I'm off. Enjoy the day.

You read my mind. I was getting ready to post this exact same question. But I was going to be more specific and say your/his kids. We each have two. Mine are 19 and 16, his are 17 and 13. My children have met only two men that I dated in the last 10 years. But I like this guy so much, that I am ready for him to meet the kids.

I have been known to dance on the tables, but I usually am a little more low key than that. Unless I see a hot young guy with a nice butt. Then it is rodeo on. LOL

Drop that guy. I know he'll be on your mind for a while, but that's okay. Just try to do other stuff, keep busy.

Virginity is important, that's true, but the rest of your life is more important. Drop that guy and never look back. And if someone pulls that stuff on you again, drop him like he ain't worth a dime. There are 6 billion people on this planet - there are better guys out there.

I'll give you another piece of advice: When you make someone feel like he or she is what you NEED to survive, like he or she is your ONE and ONLY, usually, you'll scare that person ****less or turn that person off.

When you make those sorts of statements, you're putting the person on a pedestal, and no man or woman deserves being worshiped like that. What's more, you are worth more than that. Live your life - romantic partners are there just to make things interesting, to support you, not to...*complete* you and give your life meaning. Ultimately, you'll be disappointed if your expectations are so high.

My two cents.

Wow, so young and yet so mature. I just told someone recently that no person should be placed on a pedestal in a relationship, as it elevates one above the other.

You have quite a good head on your shoulders. I hope your search is short and has a happy ending.

Good luck.
