He doesn't have to give her a boob complex by telling her exactly why. He should just tell her that he had a change of heart...period. About how he feels... But now he should not be honest with her about his reasons for leaving... Because that would be hurtful to her.. But it's okay to be hurtful to him because he particularly does not like a woman who has boobs that sag down to her knees.. think 2 tennis balls in socks...nice... but...but... i thought women wanted honesty? Honesty is saying it's over and he doesn't have to elaborate on it. I don't think he's shallow but I do believe that he's bought into what the media has made men believe what women should look like. Women have also bought into it by trying to be like what the media says we should look like. |

Well.. there seems to be a lot of pros and cons to this topic..lol.. I think there has been too much fixation on saggy boobs...lol.. The underlying sentiment behind the topic.. is !..how does he tell her ,he no longer wishes to be in a relationship with her... because he can't deal with saggy boobs... I believe this would fit nicely with the always tell the truth topic..lol.. yes I can see how that would go over very well... Umm.. my dearest girlfriend I think you're great and we would be a match in every way... but I must let you go because I can't deal with your saggy boobs.... that is really the most difficult part in this scenario... How do you be true to your own needs wants and Desires in a partner.. Without being hurtful.. how do you be honest with yourself. And at the same time... not trying to be brutally honest.. With the other person... nobody likes to hear that they are not perfect.. |

What constitutes being shallow..? I ask because I know someone.. They have come to me with a particular problem.. that they are having ...a inner struggle... Here's the dealio..lol.. This person who has come to me ! He said To me ..I have met someone!.. She is amazing.. she has everything going for her.. I have been dating her for over 3 weeks now.. we have the same sense of humor, we make each other laugh we make each other feel good.. I thought she was perfect.. I said to him ..what do you mean you thought?.. He says ..I have seen her for over three weeks now.. things were going great... then the time came for us to be intimate.. he said he took off his clothes she liked what she saw..! Then it was her turn to undress She removed her bra.. and her boobs dropped to her knees..... at that moment he felt crushed.. and no! not by her boobs..lol.. he said he was disappointed.. he could not get over how droopy her boobs were... He said to me.. every time they went out together she highlighted her breasts in a beautiful bra.. they seemed absolutely perfect... he didn't think there was an issue... At this point.. I said to him no one's perfect I said to him !well that's a little shallow of yourself... He said yes! I think the same thing I feel horrible about it... but I just can't get past the fact that her boobs droop... it really bothers him.!. I can tell that he truly likes this person.. he says He would like to make it work between them.... but no matter how hard he tries he just can't get over.. her droopy boobs... he feels like he was deceived a little bit.. because she always seemed to make her breast seem so firm and perky. Within her bra and clothing. at least from what he could tell..... He doesn't know what to do now.. He says he feels like he is being Shallow.. but he also knows that he wants to be with somebody... that doesn't have this issue..so..is he.?. You know! Shallow Hal..lol.. Oh come out with it already. this story is about you. So did you like them boobs then   
Of course it is about him. We all know that! And he's such a hypocrite you know, cos I remember him saying in the thread about @$$ vs boobs that he prefers a firm @$$ over perky boobs. He literally said "you can make boobs look good with a bra, so not a big deal if they're saggy. But an perky @$$ ... you got it or you don't! So he said he didn't really care about sagged boobs, yet now he wants to end something promising over sagged boobs. And then they say women are fickle creatures?

What I'm referring to is.. Does your partner have the right to check your phone messages?.. Does your partner have the right to know where you are every minute of the day..? When you are on the phone is it okay for your partner to stand there listening to what you have to say?.. Now if you give them cause to be suspicious of you.. do they still have the right to invade your privacy.. Are does the right to your own privacy mean just that !no matter the circumstances..?... Bottom line is its our life and ours only to live. We have the right to think and feel what we like so long as we respect and treat others with dignity. Personally I do have my "shallow hal' but as I age I am finding that how a man makes me feel inside is what matters the most and what was physically annoying no longer exists.

"Shallowness" is one of the concern factors of dating which has always been on my "most annoying stupid concepts" list. Mainly, because it's one of several of what I think of as "cover-up" concepts. People use "shallowness" as a cartoonish way to refuse to directly face up to real world concerns and worries. Worse, once the idea of a person being "shallow" became popular, it was turned into a manipulative label to try to force people, or guilt trip them into forcing themselves, to live in a way what was non-stop uncomfortable and wrong for them. So. In this case, I see a couple of mistakes being made. First and most obvious, is to try to "fix" it by addressing it as a question of "shallowness." By doing so, the possible choices for this guy are reduced to * lie to himself and the woman by PRETENDING to like saggy breasts; * label himself as a "shallow" person, and thereby excuse himself from learning anything about real life. The other thing I see wrong here, is that you are describing our friend as thinking that she led him on, when what really happened, was that he made assumptions about her which proved incorrect. I would encourage you to point that out to him, mainly because there's the danger that I see so many people fall in to, where they BLAME the other person for their own disappointments, and either are rude to them, or mistreat them, or try to guilt trip them in some way. . But I'm sure maybe yourself and some other men out there will agree.. Women do have a way of highlighting their attributes and covering up there ... what to say here... issues..lol.. So in a way they do .. deceive men.. Starting with makeup.. then there are their high heel shoes to make them look taller.. girdles push-up bras.. False eyelashes.. implants even... Maybe my friend's girlfriend should make him pay for implants.. tell him if you don't like my boobs buy me new ones..lol.. he will just say great!.. I just met her and already she wants me to buy her new boobs.... typical woman..jk If you really think about it (you are right) there's just too much cover up out there but people tend to accept the permanent ones rather than the temporary ones. Anyways society has become much more shallow than in the past because of the media brainwashing and programing. Where is the love...... I

Everyone is shallow..some maybe not as much as others. It's human nature no matter what anyone says. If he can't get past it then it is what it is. Yeah she deceived him in a way but she was also making the most of what she has. They make those bras for a reason. Just too bad for him since he thinks she's perfect in every other way. Hmm wonder what he would do if the one he loved one day lost a beast to cancer? Gotta think about that but then again love and lust are very different. 
But once you are in a committed long-term relationship you're in for a penny in for a pound so to speak.. But in his case it has only been 3 weeks.. and like he said he does have feelings for her..but..lol |
