To close one, we must know what opened it, and do away with the thing that opened it, or it will remain!

Four pages and I have yet to see you try and show what is the mark of the Beast or understanding of 666. I put out a subject of 666 and you just blow it off as if i do not know what the scriptures say, Do you really want to challenge me to my knowledge? Show us the path to 666.. Miles Miles he said this in the opening post: ""I studied this subject for four years. The way I did my study was much like an investigator would solve a crime. I started at the end of the book of Revelation, and worked my way back to the Begining of Genisis. >>>My conclusion was that the "mark of the beast" is ""lying"" >>or<< any form of deceit!""<<< this is his conclusion - 666 "means" lieing or any form of deceit!! that is why i wrote what i did, but he was offended so i dropped out. shalom my friend. |

Discussion forum posts like these illustrate so very well the two major problems facing religion (any religion, not just Xtianity) today: First, the insistence on the part of religious hierarchy that sacred writings must be interpreted in concrete, rather than figurative, terms. While this may constitute job security for unimaginative clerics more bent on controlling people than instilling reverence for divinity, it also creates a sense of vagueness and unreality around those teachings and reduces their credibility as a whole among educated and uneducated people alike. Secondly: The average person of faith tends to be less well educated and capable of expression/communication than the average heathen. People of intelligence start to gain the impression that religious figures (Jesus, the Buddha, Mohammed, Moses, etc.) were just a bunch of dorks who went around shooting their mouths off and getting more than their fair share of attention, rather than men and women who were enlightened, intelligent, and highly educated. yours in Chaos, Scarlett |

I would tend to believe that the Great spirit, God, Jehovah, Allah, Yeweh, Creator, whatever you prefer to call the one you believe is almighty would pretty much be able to and have the right to do whatever it wants!

"Unfortunatly, the muslim extemist group that is responsible for many terrorist attacks have decided to only pick at the surface about what the beast is! They honestly believe in there hearts that the U.S. of America is the beast that rose up out of the sea. It is not there fault they believe this, someone afflicted with a vengful heart taught them that. It is there fault that they choose to bring harm to other human beings. But I'm not there judge,God is! Pray for peace,,,please!" --Arkdanimal This was your origional quote. Feel free to explain how it might have been misinterpreted. So ANY fundamentalist group is potentially dangerous correct? Not merely the Muslims. The Christians have been every bit as caustic over the centuries if not more so. And of course the US foreign policy in the Middle East had nothing to do with instigating these attacks correct? Hmmm. Well I pointed out tolerance as being one potential way to alleviate some of these tensions between peoples and nations. And singling out Muslims as being the root of all evil is not exactly what I would refer to as espousing the doctrine of tolerance. I guess thats just me though. Peace. |

There would be no reason for you to be angry with me. I have done nothing to you accept pointed out the absurdity of some of your claims. I or anyone else on forum has that capability. |

Still love ya, no matter what you say or do, I will still love ya!

No, I dont even know you. I was addressing your baseless and ungrounded assertions that Muslims are terrible people and Christians are in some respect "better". Better becomes quite subjective when you are all going around killing people. The more devout you are the more you view murder and mayhem as being acceptable. Thats been my observation. |

Repent or else Jesus will fight you with the sword that sticks out of his mouth. Revelation 2:16 Like the limbless knight in Monty Python's "Holy Grail." |

Revelation2:9 I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Yeah we all know you have a long history of tolerance. |

And dont get me started on the Catholics over the centuries. No sir, the Muslims are not the sole cause of war, death and mayhem. The Christian faith stands every bit as accountable. Besides they dont believe in your deity so nothing is judging them. You should not be judging and taking sides either. Isn't their something in your book of fables (and sea monsters) about not throwing rocks in glass houses? |

I've seen huge fields of mustard growing in Germany. Beautiful and yellow all the way to the horizon. I've seen the effects of mustard gas. |
