I live alone, don't have any friends near, all are miles away so don't visit often, or at all now. I don't uselessly chat on the phone, or email or correspond. It gives me time to do whatever it is that I'm working on at the moment, undisturbed mostly. I see the knuckleheads at work, only 3 of them, and not much to say there. Lacking in interestingness.

Socialising now is talking to the cashier at the shops before going home. And voyeristically listening to the dirty laundry aired by fighting couples around me. Not exactly social, but local and entertaining.

Cat you've always got friends here at mingle, and you can hit me up for a chat about anything any time; I'm not always a moron, although still probably not your ideal, and a bit far away.

Starting on rope work for boat, binding and whipping eyes for control lines and ropes, for rudders up and down to start with. Takes ages and very fiddly, but has to be done properly.

Toasted crumpets and copious salted butter, with: vegemite, crunchy peanut paste, jam, honey, NOT all together.
More healthy than bacon.

Long heavy string, because I really do want a really big kite myself.

I don't know what he's done recently, but I like Jack Black in most of what I have seen him in, and also in the band: Tenacious D.

He puts so much energy into things, and is over enthusiastic and a bit nuts.
His acting is OK, as far as believability, but his musical ability is much better. The 'School of Rock' movie is family safe, but he also has other movies, rude stuff, and comedy, and hit songs, and acclaimed rock albums, and music videos.

He's one actor I would like to meet and chat with. Not many I would.

I'd like to throw a surprise party at KitKat. She seems like a fun lady.

3 day old leftover stir fry, left over rice, more salt vinegar and spices and basil. Followed by raisin bread toast, and chocolate.

I acquired a new pet rock the other day, when my neighbor moved out and said I could keep it, since he's moving into a flat with no yard for it to roll in. It is heavy and has rugged good looks, and does a trick. It's way better than the other rocks I have, which just lie about dropping atoms everywhere and gathering dust. This one holds a light globe, and doesn't fall over easily, it's no pushover. Its coarse angular edges are abrasive, and could graze you, so I wouldn't handle it without caution.

I left it outside for a while to get some weather on it, wire brushed its coat, and left it outside some more, and then since it was very well behaved, I let it inside, and gave it a new perch to sit on.

It's already found its pecking order niche in the household, and is now the new alpha rock, and rules over the other ones sternly from its lofty perch.

I'd show a pic of it in action holding the light if I could, but I can't; computer says no.
It's gray.

I was outside welding, then a squall with lightning came over, and wet my rod and job, and I had to stop.
It was interesting going from my feeble welding flashes up close, to massive bright jagged streaks strobing the buildings and tearing up the sky way up high.

Looking at it from the other way, I've never heard of a man genuinely falling for a woman who is in jail.
Maybe it is a self destructive excitement type thing, similar to how some women like tough guys and bad boys who mistreat them. So bad they're in jail.
Or dating / marrying dangerous notoriety, like the opposite of a trophy wife.
Some people just seek danger.

I used to live close to a women's prison, but I never thought of waiting for one to get out, or even visiting anyone in there. And I'm not too fussy.

Everything can seem like a perfect match, but while both are kept apart no one is annoying the hell out of anyone else, or making demands, or stealing, or looking in the wrong way, or cheating, or being a snoring noisy breather.
Simple things can set people off if they are a bit wrong in the head, and violent.
A white collar criminal may be safer than a murderer, but maybe not.
Jails hold a cross section of the community, and the community is crazy too, so it could work. 'Normal' relationships have a high failure rate these days anyway, so if it feels like love, why not, (all other things seriously considered).
My perfect match may be doing time right now.

3D radio 'Powersurge'; then Triple J radio 'full metal racket'.
Moshing on my own.
