I may have to sell my elliptical. I've been off it for some time and I'm not seeing it in my near future. I'm thinking a recumbent bike... Ask the doctor before you decide to get rid of it first.. But then it might be harder on your heels.. I actually had surgery on the ankle...the bottom of the foot and heel was the symptom of nerve constriction not the problem. That's why this is such a huge recovery - I basically had my ankle reconstructed. |

Yeah I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.. There is nothing worse then when your in pain all the time... Yeah the exercising will also lower cholesterol too... So that means the exercise bike of mine that is gathering dust this weekend will be brought out of it's corner....lol Since the specialist I seen said walking was high impact and suggested that I stay away from that and do the bike instead... So looks like I will have one more thing to sell my treadmill... ![]() I may have to sell my elliptical. I've been off it for some time and I'm not seeing it in my near future. Humm so what's going on with everyone? Glenda how is your foot doing? Went to the Dr. had blood work done all the vitamins I have been taken has paid off my blood work is all good well except my cholesterol... ![]() So now even on more vitamins and she told me to get some Glucosamine for my knees...She says it will help with my knees a lot.. She did give me some meds for my cholesterol took them one night and well that was enough for me. Gave me a headache and upset stomach the next day and I never have headaches... So gonna make some changes in my diet added fiber for it will help lower it. Then soufiehere let me in on a little secret give blood it will lower your cholesterol... ![]() Sounds like you've got some stuff going on...good luck with all that. My cholesterol is a little high, too. I need to EXERCISE which is a little hard on one foot. I'm still on one foot, thanks for asking. I have another week of this before I graduate to crutches on about the 26th. This was a pretty big deal, but I am in less pain than I was 24/7 for more than a year, so it'll all be worth it in the end. |

It's a tricky one because a lot of the women out there are single mothers without a lot of spare cash. This is really kinda beside the OP point (sex on the first date) but honestly, this could be pretty offensive to a lot of single moms who work their tails off to make sure things are in order for their kids and aren't looking for a handout on a date or otherwise. Single mom's are probably MORE in tune with the idea of supporting themselves than many women because they've had to depend on themselves and no one else. In fact, I'd be willing to be that more single moms have a hard time accepting the generosity of a date paying for a meal than expect it. Look into their eyes and see how much faith and trust they are putting in you when they swallow that pride and let you pick up the check... |

I missed something...Carol is cuddling in her blanket in her broken car??? Kinda...but with a blanket, the heater might not be considered something "broken!" (Especially if she's sharing that blanket with someone!) |

It's been quite a few months since I have been here on my former regular basis because of health problems. Those of you who remember me will know me mainly from the Joke and Humour threads. I was taken ill in February with breathing problems, and was in and out of hospital until May when I underwent heart surgery. I've spent most of the rest of the year recuperating, and have only been able to come online when I've had access to a computer. NOW though, You'd better watch out. LOL I'm ALMOST 100% fit, and will try and get back to posting more jokes and invading the other threads a bit more again. ![]() To ALL my friends, I've missed you all, and I hope EVERYONE has had a great Christmas, and I wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glad to hear you're recovering...see ya around the forums! |

Ya know, ANYBODY can have sex on a first date.
I'd like to suggest that it takes someone special to think they are more than the sum of their "parts" and someone special to be looking for more than their "parts." So for those of you who won't go on a second date without sex on the first...is that all you think you have to offer? Is that all you care about in a mate - just the act of mating? If you just want sex...okay, no problem and no judgment. You may or may not be interested in RELATIONSHIP which is more complex. But that isn't what everyone is looking for... |

Good luck, Queenie...and a short stay/fast recovery to you!
I struggle with autoimmunity/Hashimoto's so I cycle through hypo/hyper states continually - medication keeps the "curve" smaller but thyroid is a continual challenge. I hope that they can fix you up right! Here's hoping! Email if you need a shoulder... |

"Never let a good crisis go to waste!" as the corrupt Raumulan Emanuel once said after 9/11! So of course our "Liar in chief" will surround himself with children to promote unconstitutional powers and actions against the 2nd amendment to a sleeping nation! http://washingtonexaminer.com/article/2518621#.UPW39fLayYY I wonder if he will disarm the Secret Service that protects HIS family too That is a new hot topic following an NRA add that says "his children go to school with armed guards." Regardless of your position on this topic, I think seating those kids behind him was sleazy showmanship and inappropriate. |
