Is this a theoritical question? Because I'm not seeing how this could actually happen in the first place? Yes, it is just a thought. I never tried this. It just came to me one day. |

Say you have a level parking lot that is fully covered with ice (you could pretty much ice skate on it). Parked in this parking lot are two cars: one the size of an Escort or Focus, and one an SUV or Minivan. Could a strong enough wind, such as a hurricane wind, make either or both of the cars move AT ALL on the ice? Another way to ask the question: Will either or both of the cars' tires slide on the ice, in any direction?

Does anybody know of any good astronomy books? They can be recent or fairly old (but nothing before 1995). I'm not looking for a story, I'm looking for a book of facts (something to take notes from, or study from).

I love to think of phrases that make no sense, so I'm gonna start a game to do this. Create a phrase or sentence that contains a noun and a verb that is impossible (or is thought to be impossible) to do with or to the noun.
If you couldn't understand that, then just think of a noun and a verb that don't make sense together. Here's mine: A reckless screen |

I do, with three or four famous people, but I don't know any of them.
How about anybody (and not just famous people) who shares your exact birthday? Month, date, and year |

My Daughter is doing this & she is a freshman in High school I chose the topic, it wasn't assigned. We have to do a project for my computer class, and this was the only topic I could think of in the amount of time I had, lol. I'm in college, by the way. |

Thanks for all your help everybody! I learned about some new schools I didn't even know about and they're all so diverse, location-wise. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure I'm posting this in the right section.
I am doing a project where I have to find colleges and universities from around the country (preferably two from each state) and list some classes they offer in each semester. An example would be as follows: USC, Winter Semester (Jan-May), MATH 101 Could anybody at least give me some school names? Oh and please tell me if the school uses the internet tool for teaching called Blackboard. I know Harvard, Princeton, UCLA, U of M and all those (the very well-known schools), so they don't need to be mentioned. |

I think you are a very pretty girl, and you're pictures are great, but you can't really see you very clearly in them. I wouldn't say take them off your profile, but just add some clearer ones.

name that candy! then post a new, simple description of a specific and popular candy. Its gum, its red, and it burns your mouth! Big Red! ok... its a candy that comes in a plastic wrapper in a roll, pastel color and you may or may not be its name! Smarties! These are round, almost like a sphere. Different colors. No chocolate inside. Hint: (and this will probably give it away) they have an S on them |
