I am thinking of going to this singles retreat in Kansas City1 They have those off of plentyoffish! Only bad thing I seen though was I like am one the younger people on there and I am damn near 38! well, they meet in like a hotel setting. Have dinner and everything. I think it is actually a great way to meet people. It is a nice hotel also. It is all set up by the site and sponsor of it! |

No bashing, goofball. If you read the post, that was never the intent. Many of us are here to learn from mistakes (ours and those others make), so this is part of the process. An open, honest exchange. That is my hope anyway! I think Lex and Jistme have good points though. Often we are drawn into a situation because we want to help, or it fills a need within us (hero, the fixer, that type of things). Interesting.... Hun, go to the gym! Not all men are into themselves there, but most are not intimidated by a confident woman. Just look other places my dear! Don't limit yourself. |

Maybe I'm Old Fashioned...

Since my divorce last December, I've dated about seven different women, all different shapes and sizes. Some were knockouts, some weren't. They spanned all economic lines, ect. You know what I noticed? Women are as bad, if not worse than men! In what way you ask? Well, for starters their mouths! Holy Cows a Moses! Nothing says skank like continually dropping the F-bomb and the C-word. And when did it become lady like to tell me about where you're shaved, where you like to stick it, how you like to suck this or that, ect.? Have I missed something in five years? This doesn't just apply to women I've dated, it seems to apply universally. I talked to this sweet girl I work with and she confirmed it... What happened to being a lady? Or am I just completley out of touch? Maybe it has to do with the hip hop music or something
Are girls a lot different than when we was kids? Why, yes sir! They are much different nowadays then when we were kids. I think things really started to change during and after the vietnam war, but 80's kid's and the hair-band's really set the stuff off. I don't think it is so much rap era. Unless you are dating 18 year olds. Woman just like to be one of the boys at times. Woman can be much worse then men at times in cussing and talking about sex. Does that mean that is wrong?Who is to say1 WOman today are just so independant. They speak thier minds and do as they please. There is nothing wrong with that at all. If you don't like the way she conducts herself then don't date her. I personally prefer a lady outside of the bedroom and a freak inside. There is a time and a place for vulgarity and questionable behavior and at the dinner table is not one of them! |

No Would you scope the isles at Walmart looking for your soulmate. Actually, yes I would! They have a singles night at a wal-mart in England. I can't remember what city it is, but on the weekend they have a night where if you are single. You tie a red ribbon around the end of your cart to let people know you would like to chat. I think it is a great idea. Would you adopt a child from a foreign country? |
