Topic: Maybe I'm Old Fashioned...

Since my divorce last December, I've dated about seven different women, all different shapes and sizes. Some were knockouts, some weren't. They spanned all economic lines, ect.
You know what I noticed? Women are as bad, if not worse than men!
In what way you ask? Well, for starters their mouths! Holy Cows a Moses! Nothing says skank like continually dropping the F-bomb and the C-word.
And when did it become lady like to tell me about where you're shaved, where you like to stick it, how you like to suck this or that, ect.?
Have I missed something in five years?
This doesn't just apply to women I've dated, it seems to apply universally. I talked to this sweet girl I work with and she confirmed it... What happened to being a lady?
Or am I just completley out of touch? Maybe it has to do with the hip hop music or somethinglaugh
Are girls a lot different than when we was kids?

oh they are even more different than you have noticed so far. You rememebr the old line about girls being from mars, and boys from jupiter? Wel they werent satisfied with mars, so they raided jupiter too

Yep. Way different. Just look at the culture around you on TV and radio. The sexier the better, the dirtier the better, the more skin shown etc.

You are absolutely right....i think it may have started because men found the burp-outloud and the i-can-actually-eat-a-meal-in-front-of-you, to be a refreshing alternative to the phony, seemingly-perfect man trap! But like with anything, eventually, it gets taken to a level it really doesn't need to be!

I think it is called; "An individuals right to act as they chose."

I call it a simple lack of polite manners; be it a man or woman.
Seems that some have lost the idea of SELf RESPECT & DIGNITY.

Bt then I am an old man &might not think right.

Thank GOD for my age.

Dirty mouths are a turn off. I don't know if rap has its influence...but all the teens and kids use f word constantly. Was at an internet site and the price was cheap so wanted to check e mail and kill some time....
the kids were from about 12 to 18 and the f word prevailed..
I was numb after a while.
Women being so crude is so nasty. Its like seeing the grandmothers walking down the street with a ciggy butt dangling out of their mouths....
yeah and public spitting seems to be way up...
not a prude eithernoway noway

It' a shame, to put it lightly. Actually it's horrifying.

Imagine seeing a BEUTIFUL FLOWER, you go to take an inhale of it's beuatiful aroma. Then as you step to do so...suddenly, a 'big rhino' stomps out of the woods and does a 'big business' dookie right on top of it.

That's what it feels like these days observing women and their choice of foul rhetoric.

The art of being beautiful is becoming a relic. Thank you Brittany Spears and MTV.sick frown

My pet peeve with the guys are those who tromp around with their butt hanging out in publis often showing their underwear. My 6 year old daughter will be standing right there, and when thats' the case I don't hesitate to say somthing. a couple of times he actually came to his senses (probably out of embarrassment) and pulled up his pants.

I am with you on this one man. It really makes me sick to se that nothing is sacrid any more. not sex not honestly not love not trust.it really makes you want to live in a day when sex was somthing to hold sacrid and special, and not exploited.

Sounds like a bunch of old fogies in here. laugh laugh laugh

I do have to agree with most of you, although it's a bit chauvenistic to just harp at the women. To me, over-use of foul language shows a total lack of consideration for those around you. It seems no one stops to think what effect their words have on others. Some say it's freedom of speech. But they forget one simple truth: your freedom to swing your fist ends where my nose begins.

Wow, I'm 39 and your 34 but 7 dates since a month ago? You go man(bow) lol. May I ask if you've only dated internet women? But then again, it's been blowing me away how much it has changed over the past 5 years too. I quit the bar scene and sparingly dated within our churchs and sport groups only to find that majority of single women talked like that for fast sex obviously to see if it was good enough and were hitting Myspace, Yahoo, LouisvilleMojo, and other sites too while some hit the sites for dating when we knew it was for casual sex while real dating the groups too. Unfortunately, some got pregnant real fast.

You can never tell anymore for awhile so I've given up on old fashioned dating and just like meeting new people to see how it goes.

um yeah ! thats because society is different. very little is sacred anymore.
and if you dare to behave like a proper woman/man you get
talked about.
sad really.

That's fine, let them talk all they want, free marketing laugh for the good ones will hit and don't need the others. There's plenty of good women out there who appreciate a man who stands his ground so keep trucking  ,

Actually, seven women over the course of a year...
I don't think even I could handle seven women in one monthlaugh
Actually, I met most of them on line--- one on Match.com, and three on Yahoo! personals.
The net is really weird though. Just recently I started talking to this girl for about a week and then PRESTO, she's nowhere to be found... The internet is very hit or miss.

maybe its just that the women are lonely and feel the inernetis a place they let go and say things they normaly would not.i know quite a few men have contacted me talking dirty and get rude when i dont respond well.i think todays society cussses more and some cant speak with using fowl language sad but true

Sorry dude, but I love women who let me know what they want, how they feel, and are not sexually constrained to being what we feel a woman should be. I mean, alot of men are blunt to the point they tell there women these things. How come all of a sudden we feel women need to just shut there mouth?

Dude, I feel you are just stating your opinion here, but you are also coming off judgmental. If women offend you now, then try to find a chic who will just keep her mouth shut, and be all nice, prim and proper for you. Cause if that is what you want, then so be it. Be....NEWS FLASH.....women are vocal, and that is a good thing. Least I feel it is.

Maybe women are doing what men have always been doing??? If you are uncomfortable with it, just express that up front. As far as the spoken word goes, that's all it is. It does not make anyone a "skank," a "whore," or any of those other derogatory terms you assign. I am sure plenty of "proper" women have those same thoughts and feelings and it just ultimately comes down to how they express it. It does not give anyone the right to pass judgement. That just reflects on you, really.
