For me - about 2 months
For both? - about 4 months
Lasted almost a year
Ended yesterday - mutually agreed breakup - best of friends, but not one I'll think of as "just a friend" for a very long time, if ever.

I used to work at an A&W...on weekends we had car shows & we got to dress in the poodle skirts & wear skates.

Most of those sound like 9 months out of the year in Michigan too

I'd LOVE to know the diet you're using! I lost 30# this past winter - stress'll do that. But, I've put about 20 of it back on. Stress really isn't the way to go to get the #s back off

Like the poem I submitted in here last night - I just write what my heart is feeling. Unfortunately it's normally when my heart is broken that I do the most writing. It's very true. Poems are not like a term paper or report that you write using intellect. Poems are emotions written down.

I saw the sky turn red tonight
Amidst the darkening clouds
As the rain began to fall
The drops all cried out loud

I saw a puddle made of tears
As if they came from me
A stream of endless breaking hearts
All leading out to sea

I saw the tree sway with the wind
And reach out branches long
Resembling arms yearning for
Her lover, safe and strong

I felt the wind blow through me
It left an empty space
Where once my heart resided
Gone…without a trace

I feel your pain! I work with the one I want to be with and can't. See him every day & have to work with him directly. If you truly feel you made the right decision, then go with it. It's hard to do, but it'll get better - or so they say.
