She never even visited, nor had anyone campaigned for her in Michigan.
So Democrats in Michigan stayed home. I think she came up short in Wisconsin too. |

2) you made a racially insensitive comment , If I was a Mexican, I would be offended, you assume that they would be there to cut your lawn? maybe that Mexican person in your area is a teacher?
1. He was in a truck with Lee's Landscaping on the side. 2. He knocked on my door and asked if I had contracted with anyone for the summer. (And NO, I didn't ask for his green card, or his I-9, or anything else. After all, according to you people he wouldn't them anyway, because it would interfere with his welfare.) 3. I always have a few cold beers or soda for the guys that work on my property. 4. This isn't Nazi Germany or the 30's. Americans don't get asked for their "papers" in the United States. At least they didn't before the Repulicants stole control. But November is right around the corner.. And you wonder why Trump was elected?
Nope. Democrats stayed home, assuming the election was a slam dunk. Klansmen, neo-nazis,And white supremacists didn't. |

I offered nothing.
In answer to your question, I don't feel I need to ask someone their parentage before they cut my lawn. Apparently, whites don't like it when Mexicans question them. Donny will probably say something about that. OMG, so now because they are breast feeding that justifies them breaking the law? Just when you think you've heard everything , BAM The things leftist say.... wow. So now any new mother who in the breast feeding stage can commit a crime with impunity because her child shouldn't be taken away from her. That is what you're telling us ? And you wonder why Trump was elected? Why only half destroy? Just go all the way! The second you see them, just put a bullet in their heads, and dump them in the river. If Donny could do it in secret, you know he would. And the "law" that young mother broke, was a misdemeanor. As you like to point out, I don't know much about Canada, but here in the United States, a misdemeanor is only slightly less serious than a parking ticket. So you think it's okay to damage possibly permanently, and infant because mom got a parking ticket? Really? |

?????? WTF????? https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/2018/6/15/17465306/children-immigrant-families-separated-breastfeeding-baby It’s not just cruel to separate a breastfeeding baby from a mom. It’s medically dangerous. The powerful “oxytocin reflex” helps explain why. Border Patrol agents ask a group of Central American asylum seekers to remove hair bands and weddding rings before taking them into custody on June 12, 2018, near McAllen, Texas. John Moore/Getty Images At least 2,000 children have been ripped directly from their parents’ arms on the US-Mexico border since late April, as the Trump administration has implemented a “zero-tolerance” policy on people crossing into the US illegally, even if they are seeking asylum. But one of the most horrifying tales of family separation came last week in a CNN report of an undocumented migrant from Honduras whose daughter was taken away by federal immigration agents while she was breastfeeding in a detention center. When the mother tried to resist arrest, she was handcuffed, according to her lawyer Natalia Cornelio. A series of tweets from science journalist Emily Dreyfuss poignantly captured the unique brutality of ripping a child from its mother’s breast: Dreyfuss explains that the anguish a mother would feel having her child taken away from her breast isn’t just emotional; it’s physical too. And there’s some very good science that can help explain this. The powerful “oxytocin reflex” There are two hormones that are directly involved in breastfeeding, and one of them is oxytocin, the feel-good hormone. “[A] baby crying induces oxytocin release, which causes breast milk production and release,” explained George Saade, director of the maternal-fetal medicine division at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Breasts full of milk can be painful. Latching can also be painful, especially in the early days and months after the baby’s birth. But when a baby suckles a mom’s breasts, the mother’s brain’s posterior lobe secretes oxytocin, and some of that pain is relieved with the release of milk. This is referred to as the “oxytocin reflex” or the “milk ejection reflex” — and it’s commonly accompanied by a tingling sensation in the breasts and milk flowing out, just before or during a feeding. “The reflex becomes conditioned to the mother’s sensations and feelings, such as touching, smelling or seeing her baby, or hearing her baby cry, or thinking lovingly about him or her,” according to a World Health Organization report on mother-child feeding. Separating moms and infants is risky to their health In the breastfeeding stage, the baby’s suckling reflexes are also highly attuned, as Dreyfuss noted. “When your baby is latched to you, they are latched hard. That’s their job, to clamp down as hard as they can and suck as hard as they can to survive,” she wrote. Indeed, when something touches a baby’s palate, he or she starts to suck it, and oxytocin comes in here too, the WHO said: “The oxytocin reflex makes the breast milk flow along the ducts, and the action of the baby’s tongue presses the milk from the ducts into the baby’s mouth.” That’s why when a baby is attached to the mother’s breast, it’s essential to break the suction — typically with a pinky finger — before trying to remove the baby, explained Alison Stuebe, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at University of North Carolina School of Medicine. “Simply pulling the baby off will traumatize the mother’s nipple,” she added. There are other risks associated with splitting a mom from her baby at this vulnerable time. “A woman’s breasts are continuously making milk,” Stuebe said, “ and if that milk is not removed, her breasts become swollen and painful. She can develop mastitis, and mastitis can evolve into a breast abscess that may require surgical drainage.” Since October, more than 700 children have been separated from their families This highly refined and intricate system of hormones during breastfeeding is essential to keeping moms and babies healthy, and “it explains why the mother and baby should be kept together and why they should have skin-to-skin contact,” the WHO explained. It also helps explain why the story of the Honduran migrant is so inhumane. According to the New York Times, more than 700 children have been taken from adults who claim to be their parents since last October. More than 100 of them were under the age of 4. As Vox’s Dara Lind explained, this has prompted “Families Belong Together” rallies across the US. “Which is more humane? To take a child from her parent, keep her in a temporary “tent” for a few days or weeks, and then place her with a relative? Or to keep child and parent together, in detention, for months or years?” Lind wrote. “Most of the administration’s critics would probably answer that the only humane option is to release the whole family together and find another way to monitor their cases to make sure they show up for their court dates. But that is the one option the administration refuses to put back on the table.” *** Want to pretend you didn't know? Or that they aren't doing it? OR maybe you're just proud of them for doing it. |

Wasnt I just reading how people find it so difficult to make even 3000 a month stretch for their own expenses? Yet people making far less than that cant come up with bond only because they don't 'want' loved ones out of jail ?whoa
try the view off of that high horse sometimes. It's not so different from the party of "family values" and the pro-fetus bunch supporting ripping newborns off the nipple of breast-feeding mothers only to throw them in cages. |

you forgot to mention all of those huge multimillion dollar corporations up there that dont hardly have to pay any taxes, because their bought&paid for politicians gave them huge tax breaks, and tax cuts!! THATS why EVERYBODY ELSE has to pay so much in taxes....cuz they are paying for the huge, multimillion dollar corporations share of them, too!!! The deficit would be wiped out overnight, the budget would be balanced, and the country would actually have surplus if the churches were taxed on their property holdings alone. |

I never posted that I didnt believe anyone about THEIR experience. Im pointing out how others question the experiences blacks share with them about THEIR EXPERIENCES. Second, I did not emphasize race on the issue of the kid shot in the back. I have simply repeated, several times, the wrongness of shooting a KID running in fear in the back. Do you think perhaps the reaction would be the same, if the kid shot in the back was a white kid that just happened to be riding with some of his black friends? Let's face it, in that given scenario, a white kid would be more likely to run. I don't think so. |

The world isn't black and white it has colours in it, your characterization of the white officer shooting a black teen who was an honour student running away is why people are divided.
You are not looking at the whole picture here, while shooting someone in the back running isn't ideal, the thing is they were involved in a shooting earlier. they were not stealing candy from a store, or slashing tires or breaking into cars. they were involved in a shooting and while training tells them when and how to fire their weapons, cops today takes no chances when guns are involved in a crime. Want to try telling his mother she needs to look at the "big picture"? |

so you haven't witnessed it yourself but you have family that has? interesting. I hear stories and read about it too, but I also go by my own experience visiting your country which is about 100 times and not once have I been harassed, even though I was stopped 3 times for speeding and not once did I get a ticket , call it luck, call it fortunate, call it whatever you want , I chose to show them respect and not give off an attitude and it paid off. That isn't to say the next time Im in America I could still get a ticket but I'm not going to disrespect the officer. I'll admit, it's kinda funny when the cop goes ooops! Florida state attorney pulled over in traffic stop that goes nowhere fast A Florida state attorney who was pulled over in a traffic stop said she hopes to use the incident as a teachable moment for the community. Aramis Ayala is Florida's first and only black elected state attorney. She's been no stranger to controversy since taking office in 2016 as top prosecutor of the 9th Judicial District, which covers Orange and Osceola counties. After she announced in March that she no longer intends to pursue the death penalty, Gov. Rick Scott removed her office from 21 first-degree murder cases, including the trial of accused police killer Markeith Lloyd. The move prompted an ongoing lawsuit about whether Scott's decision was justified. Now, Ayala is back in the spotlight after footage surfaced of Orlando Police pulling her over in a June 19 traffic stop. It lasts little more than a minute after two officers find out who she is, prompting some social media users to suggest racial bias was at play. Orlando Police said the stop was lawful; Ayala has conceded that the stop appears to be "consistent" with the law but insists she did nothing wrong. Ayala was driving a state-issued vehicle when she was pulled over after leaving Florida A&M University College of Law, where she had taught class that evening. "What agency are you with?" the officer with the body camera asks as he looks at her identification. "I'm the state attorney" she responds, kicking off a terse exchange. The officer tells Ayala that he and his partner pulled her over after a check of her license plate came up empty. License plates on state-issued vehicles are confidential, and would not come back as registered to a vehicle, the department said. She asks what the tag was run for and he tells her they run tags all the time. "That's how we figure out if cars are stolen and that sort of thing," he responds, adding that her car windows were another reason for the stop. "Also, the windows are really dark, I don't have a tint measure but that's another reason for the stop," he adds. Ayala smiles as he replies and asks for the officers' business cards. The encounter ends without a citation. The Orlando Police Department allows the running of tags "for official business only," a practice "done routinely on patrol," the agency said in a statement. "In regards to the video, which was released by the Orlando Police Department last month, the officers stated the tag did not come back as registered to any vehicle. As you can see in the video, the window tint was dark, and officers would not have been able to tell who, or how many people, were in the vehicle," the agency said. Ayala confirmed that she was pulled over on June 19 in Parramore. While she said the stop appears to be lawful, she said that she intends to follow it up."To be clear, I violated no laws. The license plate, while confidential was and remains properly registered. The tint was in no way a violation of Florida law," she said. "Although the traffic stop appears to be consistent with Florida law (my) goal is to have a constructive and mutually respectful relationship between law enforcement and the community," she said. I look forward to sitting down to have an open dialogue with the Chief of Orlando Police Department regarding how this incident impacts that goal." *** Bet that guy won't ever get her to try any of his cases. |

This just goes to show how being taught hate as a child will damage you forever. Even though whites have explained we get stopped by police too, some will always believe it's the color of the skin. Meanwhile, blacks killing blacks is your main threat. You can't fix the problem in your community if you think it's the cops trying to stop the gangbangers. I don't know if you're being obtuse deliberately, or if it's just an act. This isn't about whether or not whether white cops pull over white people. It's about WHY white people are pulled over as opposed to black people. White people are more likely to be let off with a warning for speeding as opposed to a black person getting a ticket. Guess what? White people go to court in front of white judges too. White people are more likely to get a lecture and a small fine from the white judge, whereas the black person will get 30 days in jail and a big fine. White cops are more likely to shoot black people then they are white people. Hopefully, a pattern is starting to emerge from the midst. |

Taxes keep increasing on mostly everything, Thank Trump. It will get worse before it gets better. Comcast customers can get cell service with unlimited talk and text for three dollars a month. Taxes keep increasing on mostly everything, yet this country thinks they can support illegals. Property tax here is going through the roof. It's sad that after working all of your life, owning a decent home, becomes a hardship. I have to pay several thousand $$ by Dec 1. I call it punishment for being a productive member of society. Bet you've paid for your property twice in taxes. I have. The joys of home ownership. The real joy of home ownership, is that it doesn't matter who's president, who's in Congress, or what happens to the economy. If the entire country goes into the toilet tomorrow, you'll never be homeless. |
