Its good you count your words. It would save you lots of trouble. Let the man search you out; your likes and stuffs pertaining to that. Don't just hand him over a handbook of your life.

There is a little bit of truth in this. In no way am I saying a woman should stay quite and/or be submissive but some women do have a tendency to not shut up once they start talking. Some guys are just not into talking all that much, unless it is something they are interested in sharing.

Rejection hurts but it's a part of life. How will you ever find that 'special someone' if you never step out of your comfort zone and take a chance?

From the time he went into office, Bush pretty much rammed this country's economy to the ground. It is going to take the next 200 years before we will get out of the mess that he helped put us in. I am dumbfounded at how conservatives are quick to throw our current leader into the cauldron, knowing well that eight years of having that goof of a president (Bush) in office is what kept us in this economic downfall in the first place.

Lol thats laughable. The economy was perfectly fine after the first 6 years. What happened after the 6th year? Well the Democrats took control of Congress and went on a spending spree and still are. How exactly does the president control the economy? The congress is in control of the Budget. Lets learn how the system works please.

I suppose it's always easy to blame it on the other party when your leader's an idiot.

Like I said already...Just let one secede, say Texas. After we strip them of their citizenship and all protections we provide, we then determine we suspect WMD in their midst and bomb them up a little and take over again and covert them to democracy like we do other hostile non US areas. And reabsorb a more humble state.

But the pres is too nice to do that....

Reposted From A Comment On Citizens Untied:

CONCERNING THE PROPOSED SECESSION OF TEXAS FROM THE UNITED STATES
(This is a suggested letter from President Obama to Texas written by Dianne Self Wing)

...Dear Texas:
I have received your petition to secede from the United States and have forwarded it to Congress who will act on it with their usual speed. All military bases in Texas will be closed and personnel relocated to bases in the United States, except for a contingency left to guard the Texas-US Border. Any Texas citizen holding a US passport is required to surrender it immediately. Entry into the US will require a valid Texas passport. Anyone staying longer than two weeks will have to obtain a visa. Funding for highways, transportation, bridges, infrastructure, education and medical facilities will cease immediately. Your representatives to the US Congress are ordered to leave Washington as soon as possible. All US licenses to do business are revoked. The FAA will no longer operate at your airports and air traffic controllers are terminated. All Federal Civil Service employees in the country of Texas are terminated. The FCC no longer operates so you will be responsible for licensing your own telephone, radio, television and Internet providers. Anyone receiving payments for Social Security, Mediciare, Medicaid and Disability will have to reapply and Congress will decide if foreigners are allowed to receive payments from the US Govt. The Coast Guard will no longer operate in Texas waters so suggest you form your own navy immediately to protect your borders against foreign invaders, drug smugglers, terrorists and illegal aliens. Good luck.

P.S. Attached is your portion of the bill for the national debt.

lol

I'm sure it won't be long before they will be begging to rejoin the Union laugh

Please note that Texas is the only state with a legal right to secede from the Union . (Reference the Texas-American Annexation Treaty of 1848.)Here is what can happen:

1: Barack Hussein Obama is President of the United States , and Texas secedes from the Union in summer of 2013.

2: George W. Bush will become the President of the Republic of Texas . You might not think that he talks too pretty, but we haven't had another terrorist attack, and the economy was fine until the effects of the Democrats lowering the qualifications for home loans came to roost.

So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic?

1. NASA is just south of Houston , Texas . We will control the space industry.

2. We refine over 85% of the gasoline in the United States .

3. Defense Industry--we have over 65% of it. The term "Don't mess with Texas ," will take on a whole new meaning.

4. Oil - we can supply all the oil that the Republic of Texas will need for the next 300 years. What will the other states do? Gee, we don't know. Why not ask Obama?

5. Natural Gas - again we have all we need, and it's too bad about those Northern States. John Kerry and Al Gore will have to figure out a way to keep them warm....

6. Computer Industry - we lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications equipment -small companies like Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor,Motorola, Intel, AMD, Atmel, Applied Materials, Ball Microconductor, Dallas Semiconductor, Nortel, Alcatel, etc, etc. The list goes on and on.

7. Medical Care - We have the research centers for cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world, as well as other large health centers. The Houston Medical Center alone employees over 65,000 people.

8. We have enough colleges to keep us getting smarter: University of
Texas , Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Texas Christian, Rice, SMU, University
of Dallas , University of Houston , Baylor, UNT ( University of North
Texas ), Texas Women's University, etc. Ivy grows better in the South anyway.

9. We have an intelligent and energetic work force, and it isn't restricted by a bunch of unions. Here in Texas , it's a Right toWork State and, therefore, it's every man and women for themselves. We just go out and get the job done. And if we don't like the way one company operates, we get a job somewhere else.

10. We have essential control of the paper, plastics, and insurance industries, etc.

11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the Texas National Guard, the Texas Air National Guard, and several military bases. We don't have an Army, but since everybody down here has at least six rifles and a pile of ammo, we can raise an Army in 24 hours if we need one. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call the Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over the Texas Rangers.

12. We are totally self-sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs, and several types of grain, fruit and vegetables, and let's not forget seafood from the Gulf. Also, everybody down here knows how to cook them so that they taste good. Don't need any food.

13. Three of the ten largest cities in the United States , and twenty- three of the 100 largest cities in the United States , are located inTexas. And Texas also has more land than California , New York , New Jersey , Connecticut , Delaware , Hawaii , Massachusetts , Maryland , Rhode Island and Vermont combined.

14. Trade: Three of the ten largest ports in the United States are located in Texas .

15. We also manufacture cars down here, but we don't need to. You see, nothing rusts in
Texas , so our vehicles stay beautiful and run well for decades.

This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic of Texas in good shape. There isn't a thing out there that we need and don't have.

Now to the rest of the United States under President Obama: Since you won't have the refineries to get gas for your cars, only President Obama will be able to drive around in his big 5 mpg SUV.The rest of the United States will have to walk or ride bikes.

You won't have any TV as the Space Center in Houston will cut off satellite communications. You won't have any natural gas to heat your homes, but since Mr. Obama has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas as long as you survive the 2000 years it will take to get enough
heat from Global Warming.

Signed,
The People of Texas

P.S. This is not a threatening letter - just a note to give you something to think about!
SLEEP WELL TONIGHT - THE EYES OF TEXAS ARE UPON YOU!!

A bit Tongue In Cheek, but there is a lot of truth in it!

some interesting stuff here!
laugh

1. Not for long, if Texas secedes NASA will shut down it’s Houston quarters.

2. Maybe, but I don’t think the number is that high. Besides refineries are not state’s property, they belong to it’s private owners who would refine anyone’s oil as long as they get paid for it.

3. 65% of what? Federal Army, Navy, Airforce, and even reserve bases will be closed down and weapons/equipment will be brought back to US.

4. If Texas secedes it will have to use oil for trade to raise revenue. They will have to compete with OPEC and other oil producing countries. At that rate oil will not last 1/10 of the 300 years. Now Texas also has to either provide protection for it’s oil shipping tankers or pay US for delivering through pipelines over US territory.

5. Same situation as with oil. Running a pipeline through another country (USA) especially if it’s somewhat of a hostile country now, will be a mess. Good example is Russia running a line through Belarus and Ukraine, where they steal gas or try to charge Russia high prices for transfers.

6. I bet a lot of these companies will exit. USA does not have to sign free trade agreement with “Republic of Texas” so US can charge enormous tax on products coming from Texas making it unprofitable for companies to produce in Texas.

7. Ok, hope they can keep them all on payroll when budget is tighter.

8. Texas rates very low (36) on high school graduation, and even lower (44) on spending per student. I also doubt there will be too many teachers willing to teach in Republic of Texas universities, because their pay and benefits will be cut.

9. This is the best one. It is Right to Work For Less. A lot of morons are all for it because they don’t realize they will be doing job of 4 people while getting paid for less than 1. Good luck working your whole life for minimum wage in your “Right to Work” state.

10. Same as #6.

11. National Guard is now trained with active and reserve military at bases round US. As an sovereign country Texas will have to train and supply their National Guard on its own. Also National Guard is lacking latest military technology because state does not have a huge military budget like federal government does.

12. Possibly as long as there is no major drought, tornados, or hurricanes that impede with food production. And when disaster strikes you’re on your own, hope there is enough cash to buy food from other countries.

13. What’s the point here?

14. Now you have to protect them all by yourself too.

By the way, it’s actually the opposite for TV, NASA, and there is plenty of natural gas in other parts of the country.

News flash to Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter: Obamacare isn’t the only thing costing your business money.

The pizza chain head has made his views on the Affordable Care Act clear in recent months, claiming the new health care law will cost his business about $5 to $8 million per year. To compensate Schnatter's said he will likely raise pizza prices and cut back some workers’ hours so he doesn’t have to insure them.

Caleb Melby of Forbes has graciously done the math on Obamacare’s cost to Papa John’s and according to his analysis, to cover the cost of Obamacare, the pizza chain would have to raise prices by 3.4 to 4.6 cents per pie -- way less than the 11 to 14 cents Schnatter claims he needs.

And there are other changes the chain could make to save some money, Melby notes, like not giving away 2 million pizzas for free at a cost of between $24 and $32 million to the company, for example. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/13/papa-johns-obamacare_n_2123207.html

I concur!

Instead of cutting employee's healthcare benefits, maybe Papa Johns should stop giving away free pizzas.
