I have just registered with the site. My only concern is that all the profiles which I have viewed so far state that the it has been over a month since the member has logged in which is rather surprising.
I suppose if the webmaster contacts them by personal e-mail to let them know that I have messaged them that will be fine, but I have had no responses so far. Rather peculiar! Sue |

whenever you message anyone, they get an email alert sent to their email id that they have used here to register. So no worries! That was about the tech aspects of mingling here. Now whether it works?! Well, i have no idea ! At least never worked for me here in India (i hardly tried ha ha) ! But forum is always a good place to start and get to know people ! |

If it has been over a month since anyone logs in, it usually means they have had no luck and just aren't returning to the site. |

I've found that anyone that still logs in here is here for the forums. I've only heard of one couple that actually made it off of here, but they're still here for forums, but they are together. Doesn't matter if it's this site of the other million dating sites, 99% of them don't work in the first place. Just my 2 cents.

I don't get alerts either when a message is sent to me unless I log in.

I always get alerts sent even if i am logged in. Lemme check if there is any setting somewhere (tell you guys if i figure it out).

Go to My Account>Settings> Mail settings and check if things are ok. That should do!

Really? I got a new mail in here but wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't logged in.... so I was assuming the email thing didn't work. Be sure you have the first box checked, here: http://mingle2.com/inbox/mail_settings with a viable email, that you check. |
