It possible that he just doesn't believe you realize how much you hurt him and he won't leave it alone until you do. He probably doesn't realize that it's possible you don't care. Or even if ihe does, he may want to make you suffer as much as he feels you have made him suffer. Just being Devil's Advocate, you know. I was going to say something similar. I am curious though, is this an x husband or an x short term boyfriend? Why I ask is that I would take different approaches to an x wife or some freak that I was with for a brief period of time, can you say "fatal attraction". When a long term relationship is severed it is hard for some men to deal with the emotional pain that could bring and the only emotion they feel is manly enough to express is anger. In this case I would try and be understanding and say something like: "I know this hurts you, it hurts me too, but this is something I must do. We have grow apart to the point that I cannot see us continuing any longer. I really need you to stop with all the angry e-mails and such, because all you are doing is scaring me and I will eventually have to file a restraining order against you." However, with Glen Close I would just file and have the sheriff serve him. Having the sheriff show up with the papers gives credence to them, rather than a private process server. Most sheriffs offer this kind of service free to the local community. Good luck James |

Having suffered from "clinical" depression myself, your situation sounds familiar to me. Though I am not qualified to make that judgment. However, I will tell you this, that I have learned; clinical depression is not an emotional problem, it is a physical illness. The brain produces different neurotransmitters. One of these is responsible for mood, in the brain of a person with depression, these are reabsorbed too quickly and you feel depressed. If on the other hand you don't reabsorb enough you become manic. All the talking and therapy in the world will not help if this is the case. It would be like trying to talk your way through the chicken pox. The good news is that there are some VERY effective meds on the market today to treat this disorder. Unlike the older meds that made a person feel almost as bad as the depression, these just make you feel normal.
I have said all that to say this. Go see a professional and get diagnosed and treated. I would recommend a psychiatrists rather than a psychologist first. Since a psychiatrist can prescribe meds and a psychologist will just be able to talk about how crappy you are feeling. Good luck and remember that tomorrow always holds hope for change. James |

yes you should always do all updates for windows, many of them have to deal with "security" issues. Doing SP packages are vitally important IMO.

I would sure hope that there is a woman out there that meets your expectations that wouldn't be so shallow to see a wheelchair rather than the man sitting in it. However, I know first hand that there are also women out there that see a wheelchair and see empty wallets. My x for example who left me because in the course of our marriage I too became disabled and have been unable to work since I am qualified as an auto technician and can no longer do manual labor.
Good luck in your search, perhaps you are in a better position than most men, you have a filter that will catch all the undesirable right off the bat. James |

need men's opinion

I guess this is a hard question to answer. Some men can't wear a pink tie while others will wear a purple suit and look great. Depends on the man. Not only is it a nice necklace, but the sentiment attached to it is worth a lot. But again, will these things be important to YOUR man? I would hope so. If you are replacing a "surfing" necklace then I would assume that it was similar to the one you are replacing it with. I say Kudos to you and this will give you insight to your man that perhaps you didn't have before

It seems to me that the "historians" have overlooked one very important factor about Obama. The fact that he is black, unfortunately, will factor in to a lot of people's votes. As far as the "world" hating America, answer me this. If this is the case then why have so many pro-Bush pro-American conservative leaders been elected abroad? With the Democratic primaries lingering on for as long as they have both candidates on the democratic side have just about exhausted their funds, while McCain has been building his purse during the same time. Also and unfortunate truth about this country is that dollars tend to buy votes. Obama's lack of experience in politics are limited to a very short them in the Senate and NO international dealings. Whereas McCain has extensive experience in both of these areas as well as a track record to peruse. No democrat has actually "helped the little guy" it has always been republican, conservative fiscal policies that have benefited this country. Taxing the rich never works, never has and never will. This has ALWAYS wound up hurting the "little guy". Lowering taxes, on the other hand has always been shown to stimulate the economy. Having the government run or interfere with the free market economy we have has always caused problems in the past. Government oversight of industries also has not shown to be beneficial. All these things considered I don't see how Obama can or will win this upcoming election.
That being said, I don't think McCain will be a boon either. I see this election as a no win situation and who ever wins it, we lose. james |
