Last time I bought a woman flowers she said to me, "ok, what did you do?"

Another time I sent a dozen roses anonymously to my x at her job. She didn't tell me she received them she wasn't sure who sent them :(

Back in my late teens early twenties my mom owned a flower shop so anyone I dated got lots of flowers, they rarely found out I got them free :)

As to what I expect on a first date? Well it is more like a hope, intelligent conversation, a good sense of humor and the feeling that the time just flew by. I like a single rose if I am going to give a flower on a first date. Only one time in my life did a girl give me a flower on a date. It was Vera, the first girl I ever loved. We dated on and off from the time I was 15 till I was 21. Should have married that Ukrainian beauty. But as you can see, I have not forgotten it.

I hate when that happens. But some people just say "typical bachelor pad". but that is no excuse for me. I like things nice and neat. But it is easy to be lazy and let things go a bit

Ever get the feeling that something is wrong with you? I have that feeling lately. I can't seem to make contact with anyone, nonetheless get an actual date. No e-mails returned, nothing....I KNOW I am a nice guy that is a blast to be with. I don't get it....

I too get way too many spam invites for pay per view web cams from Yahoo. I use MSN almost exclusively.

ROFLOL Ya it would take two large pillows to remind me of my x, but why the hell would I want that?? There is one woman I tend to think of more than others, but she is not on this site...kind of a long story...

spent 20 years of my life married, gosh I hope there was love there. I am a bit of a helpless romantic and believe God will bring that right someone to me soon enough.

yes, hate to sleep alone, have always found it hard. Isn't that why they started making those 3 1/2 foot long pillows for this very reason?

I don't find it hard to do, I would much rather get a note to that effect than have no reply at all. Silence is just rude IMO
