It is just a sign of who selfish our country has become. I would never NOT reply to someone who took the time to message me. It is a sign of good manners to at least let a person know you are not interested. You do not have to go into great detail, but a simple response is thoughtful, and the proper thing to do.

if you are having trouble with a jealous girl, and are worried about her giving you poop about your other friends.....she's not worth her salt, and that's a big red flag. she is here for the same reason you are....so what's her problem?? for a relationship to take place, it takes more than a few weeks anyhow. then a decision of seriousness should me made on trust issues. |

Bull**** Lindy, Here is why Bush chooses to Veto this bill, The President has threatened on multiple occasions to veto the emergency supplemental if it includes war timelines or other policy restrictions, or if it goes over his arbitrary budget cap. The Administration has also expressed objections to the GI Bill based on concerns about retention -- basically, they believe that if a GI Bill benefit is too good, it'll reward veterans too richly for their service and draw them away from re-enlisting. http://www.alternet.org/waroniraq/86306/ And McCain is once again in step with him, The Arizona senator opposes the scholarship measure, as does the Pentagon, because it applies to people who serve just three years. He fears that would encourage people to leave the military after only one enlistment even as the U.S. fights two wars and is trying to increase the size of the Army and Marine Corps. http://asia.news.yahoo.com/080524/ap/d90s35h00.html They are afraid that it will cause them to have to reenstate the draft to continue their illegal war.... ok, what aboutthose that stayed out of fire, because they were serving in a non-deployable hospital, caring for those that came back from the war? Just as an example of course. Every single job in the military goes to assist those in combat in one way or anohter, wether they are in it or not. People who have never been under fire will never understand. The majority of r.e.m.f.'s should not get a golden egg. If your support job in the military brings you into direct fire with the enemy, then yes you should. If you are safely tucked away in another country, or so far behind lines (which this war really does not have) then no. I thought you said you were in a combat situation? I am trying to think what active duty army deployment there was to a hostile zone between 93 and 99. |

Exactly. What most people are forgetting to take into account is the teachers in question have the inalienable right to not be involved with the water balloons ina ny way. If the kids had not involved the teachers, there would have been no problem. remember people have the right to not be involved just as much as they have the right to be involved. It may seem childish and unreasonable to you that the teacher got upset about getting wet. To me it is reasonable. For example, I personally have some major problems with my back and neck, and anything sudden that makes me jump or jerk in surprise tends to hurt like hell due to it. This includes getting hit with cold water. So yes, the teachers did have the right to be upset about getting hit with the water balloons. Daniel, If I saw you walking down the street, I'd throw a water balloon at you just for the hell of it! And you would be paying my chiropactor bill when I threw my back out. |

most people want what they cannot have. If they are cheaters perhaps they are hoping that you are just looking for that little sly action on the side, and they may be the one lucky enough to prod you into it. People for the most parts are scum sucking bottom dwellers. They are always more than happy to feast upon the scraps left by decent people

seaworthy1963 Been going on since Bush v. Gore. Won't stop. I wonder if we would have been better off with Gore. Think about that one lefties. What would he have done? After WTC was bombed in Feb '93, Bill Clinton, along with VP Al Gore, brought criminal charges. No other action was taken. Only one person has had to make the decision. All the rest of us are rock throwers. Glad this mentality wasn't around in Dec '41. After the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor, can anyone tell me what country the U.S. invaded? Can you explain me by wich strategic plan you align your WHOLE fleet in one harbor without even a patrol plane 100 miles out while a WORLD WAR is going on? Not a coast guard boat, a destroyer...nothing. Why would you do that? Think about it. |

Wow! Don't we pundits know it all. How did ya'all find out all of this stuff? Do you have sources that I don't know about? The truth is, we do not have privy to all that's going on. I don't think any of us really wants to know. So far, I think it's for the best 'cause I can still go shopping with out too much fear of terrorist intervention. CIA, go ahead, check my background, listen in on my phone conversations, break into my computer. You'll sit there and be dead from boredom within 15 min. |
