I actually came across that a lot when I worked with special needs kids..I asked a neuro development specialist about it..it has to do with sensory..they can't process smell information and to them they think its playdough
Its disgusting but all that can be done is to clean up the mess and the child until they are mentally mature enough to understand and if they reach that stage at all

Maybe its not the kids..maybe its us as a society that is the problem
In my opinion I personally think we have a problem with how lax we've become regarding the current trends going on.
A lot of kids use the excuse that its their hormones that causes them to act out..to me that is a cop out.
If you want to get technical we deal with hormones all our lives and if hormones are out of whack, there would be more physical signs besides mood swings, pms, and aggression
I've heard a lot of reasons of why kids do the things they do:
Kids having sex cause there was no supervision
Doing it cause they had to or they would loose their boyfriend or girlfriend
To get attention and to feel love
Doing it for revenge
Doing it cause they wanted to
Doing it cause they're friends talk about it and they want to see what all the hoopla is about.

Me and my daughter had a long talk about it.She's known him for 2 yrs.she says she knows she's not ready to have sex and she and him have talked about virginity and he's very respectful towards her.
She has seen what s happened to older teens and she has talked to them but got mxed signals from them such as them telling her she shouldn't do it yet they turned around and did the exact opposite of what they told her

Believe it or not..I didn't have my first boyfriend til age 17. Didn't even go out on dates.
My oldest is 16 but she's disabled so I'm entering a new territory with my 13 yr old..

I have seen alot of friends who have gone through this..I've seen both the positive and the negative, just wasn't sure if she understood what can happen if there is a bad fall out from it..and I'm talking about the sex..I'm talking emotionally.I've seen where kids have been destroyed and have moved to other schools cause they couldn't handle the rumors, peer pressure and assumptions that happens after a break up nowadays and just from a simple misunderstanding

Update:

After having the famous mom vs daughter battle..we were able to come to a compromise. She can talk with him, hang out with him, give hugs, and hold hands lol
She has to put her school work and chores first though and she has decided to start a new trend regarding labels..instead of calling him a boyfriend which to her implies that they are romantic and they are not..she's gonna refer to him as the a boy that she is getting to know ;)

When do you think a child should be allowed to have a boyfriend?

My daughter is 13 yrs old and wants to "date a boy". I told her that she's not allowed to date until at least 17 yrs of age.Just found out that she's had a boyfriend for two months! Grrrrr! I've had the sex talk with her already..she says she wants a boyfriend cause everyone else at school has one lol and yes I've asked her if she would jump off a bridge cause someone else is doing it..

I don't know how parents made it through teenage years without throttling their kid lol..I'm going by my instintics which tell me don't let her do it yet other parents are saying let her cause she'll do it anyways

What would you do? Should a child be allowed to do something just because its the new acceptable thing to do? Or should I keep doing what I'm doing and fight against it?

I have actually been in a situation when I was being verbally and sexually harrassed..I took the guy to court and won the case

When dealing with harrassment,u always need proof that it is occuring.
U need an actual log that keeps track of the situations taking place with date, time, witnesses
There should already be a policy in place at work,if not go by the city laws until one is in place or contact a corporate law firm on what should be in the policy

The real question is why does it matter?

I have seen a lot of different types of relationships succeed
I have seen a couple where a man was 20 yrs older than his wife
I have seen a couple where a woman was 15 yrs older than her husband
I have seen a couple that's been together 30 yrs yet never married
I have seen a couple who got married 3 months after meeting and are still together

The only thing that should matter is how two people feel about eachother and what both bring to the relationship. If it feels right, then who cares what people think..if it feels wrong, then get out of the relationship

Teddy bears and barbie dolls, let's travel to the past
Everything was wonderful..should've known it wouldn't last.
I'm gonna sue the fairy tales for falsly planting dreams
They should've come with a warning"nothing is what it seems."
Everybody played together, fights were over toys
Now they're over rumors,sex,drugs,and boys
Why do we all lie now? And play these aweful games
Why are all the roles reversed? And being good is lame
We use to be so happy, now depression is at its worst
Only concerned with rumors and who will be there first
The girls don't play with barbie dolls, they've changed to something real
No one ever cares how another person feels
The lies are so much bigger, compared to second grade
Of course you have to lie so mom won't know ur getting played
If ur grades are something good,u have to hide ur brain
Make it sound like ur an idiot and make urself sound lame
Well never know what we should do,much less of than what we should not
All that's on our minds is "damn that boy is hot!"
Does anyone remember or are all of us too high?
Who really cares about the past
The present is passing by

If not then it sounds like he's got some insecurities going on

A definate sign that a woman is interested

She walks into an object cause she can't stop looking at you lol
Or her mouth hangs open, she's drooling and her eyes are crossed

My car!

I have 3 kids...two of them decided to get into my car(which was sitting on a hill)by climbing through my driver window. My daughter(the brain)convinced my son(the brawn)to get into the driver seat and go for a car ride.He put down the ebrake and I heard a crash...the car had rolled backwards down the driveway, across the culd de sac, over the curb and crashed into a parked van

Incase ur wondering where I was...I had just got my disabled daughter off the bus and into the house when I heard the crash.

The most amazing thing of it all is they were 1 1\2 and 2 1\2 yrs old and they had seat belts on!
