I just finished reading your profile and have to say that while, yes, it is pretty long by industry standards  , I'm always more drawn to people who take the time to really paint a clear picture of themselves and give the reader a true 'taste' of their personality, quirks, etc. The ones that say 'hey, I don't know what to write, but if you want to know something, email me' DRIVE ME NUTS!
After reading your profile I would expect no surprises upon conversing with you further, or meeting you in person -- which I think is cool -- it was honest, up front and a pure reflection of who you are in the 'real' world. My only thought is that you might want to leave some stuff for the reader to discover about you in the future (ie your childhood, etc.) ... you can allude to stuff, but leave some mystery so the person is intrigued and feels compelled to contact you so they can learn more. As you can see ... I have a little 'problem' with the whole concept of brevity myself  ... good luck with your search - sounds like you've got lots to offer.
that has got to be the raddest response ever, appearently you are one of the few that actually took a lil time out their JSH day to actually read, which is slightly pathetic considering the amount of people that even looked at the post or even looked at the page. i know that i should leave some to be mystery, but i dont care, i want people to know thats how i am, it doesnt change and its shaped who i am. but thank you for your response, best one yet! |

if you looked up misfit in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of me all my friends in real life are trainhoppers, travelers, street kids, gutter punks and crusty's. hell i was one myself for many years, still am in heart, ive been able to crawl out from the streets and maintain a solid roof over my head. but still non the less, i am a misfit in its full right, Glen Danzig would be proud Wow That is impressive. But what is a crusty? a crusty is just that, one dirty dude, and they dont care that they are dirty you know, all of these people o speak of have some of the best hearts, becuase they have deprived themselves of todays society of materialistic items. you'd be amazed at the quality of character of one that has nothing but the shirt on his back |

Everyone lies. That’s inevitable. Whether it is a small lie or big lie, for some reason we all do it. And for whatever reason, it has become socially acceptable to lie. Most unfortunate. This is not to say that I am perfect and that I do not lie, because I do. However, there are some lies that just get quite irritating to hear. The one that I has been most annoying as of late is when a friend tells me “you deserve better.” |
