A guy was watching a camel caravan preparing to leave the oasis for a long journey through the desert.

He had often wondered how the camels survived these journeys without needing water for many days.

So, he approached the camel herder who was taking a camel down to the edge of the oasis to drink to ask him the the question.

Well Effendi, says the camel herder, as the camel is drinking you use two bricks, one in each hand, and clap them together on the camel's testicles.

The camel takes a sharp intake of breath, and at the same time gallons of extra water, this sustains the camel for many days.

Oh I see says the guy, very clever, but does it hurt?

Only if you trap your thumbs between the bricks, says the camel herder.

We have to be somewhere.

A guy was waiting for his train to arrive when he spots a, "I tell your weight and Fortune" machine on the platform.

He decides to try it and steps on to the machine and inserts 50cents.

"You weigh 14 stone and you're going to fart" says the machine.

He laughs as he steps off the machine when, brrrrrrmp!

Amazed at this he steps back on to the machine and puts in another 50c.

"You weigh 14 stone and you're going to fart" says the machine.

Determined this will not happen he slowly steps off the machine when, brrrrrmp!

This time he decides this will not happen again as he steps back on to the machine and inserts 50c.

"You weigh 14 stone and you're going to fart" says the machine.

He clenches his buttocks as he gingerly steps down from the machine and then, brrrrrmp!

In absolute disbelief he decides to try once more and steps back on to the machine and inserts 50c.

The machine says, "You weigh 14 stone and you have been farting about that much on the station here that you have missed your train"

Living your life as a single person is very different to sharing your life and living with someone. Whether you choose to just live together or marriage, either is in my opinion a very big step. If I loved someone then I would prefer marriage, over living together, because for me it shows the commitment you both have and the pledge you make to each other, which you hope will last a lifetime. For some just living together is enough. I see it as a personal choice with no difference between the two when taken for the same reasons. It is a very big step in life and not to be rushed in to, a long courtship and becoming best friends will decide it for you in my opinion.

Their appearance, how they dress and look good whatever their figure, making themselves attractive, and have a good sense of humour.

I converted from Bar soap to liquid soap a few years ago, it costs more than bar soap and I use more than I did using bar soap it certainly does not last as long. I use bath/shower gels for baths/showers. Many years ago I use to put new open bars of soap in with my clean shirts and clothes in the cupboard it certainly gave them a fresh smell, nowadays you add an in-wash scent booster to your laundry, which are very good but not as many fragrances to choose from, as there were in bars of soap, when placing bars of soap amongst your clothing and they never wore out.

This post was none too serious, created in response to the post "Why do men lie about their ages?"

I never lie about my age, but maybe I do need to wear a rug these days!

On a negative note. AI will continue to be developed with little or no government regulation, the military potential use of AI and robotics will not be constrained. No government will restrict its development out of fear it will fall behind in the technological advancements. Another kind of arms race has already begun.

There will be increases in renewable energy around the world, from sunlight, wind and sea power, which will further reduce the use of fossil fuel.

I put forward my idea of where we should go on a date, but at the same time ask if they would like to go and do something else. A first date after the meeting for coffee is a difficult one in my opinion, unless of course enough hints have been given.
