After only two or three dates in the real world, your date suggests a weekend away in a small Volkswagen campervan they have on loan from a friend to go on a road trip.

Would you decline Would you accept straight away. Would you accept but specify conditions for the trip. Would you accept providing you can take a tent. Would you accept but take your gun. Would you dump them. |

Nothing better than a road trip and camping out in the wild , during the summer ... especially with a date , who you actually like .... It could be the start of a beautiful romance or at least provide some insight to personality and character for future reference.

  I'd go for it ... anytime .... |

I would thank the person but would decline. Don’t get me wrong cause I do like the woods but mostly walking in them but I definitely don’t do tents or sleeping bags.

Thanks for your replies. I would accept, nothing better than a road trip in a campervan, and a good way to get to know someone. In some countries I guess you may need a gun when camping in the wild.

I guess it depends of its a guy asking a girl or vice versa. If a guy asked me on a camper van in the wild after a few dates, my natural instinct would be « would I feel safe with this guy? I barely know him ». There are alot more (male) creeps in the world than there are women who would invite a man in their camper. However, if I felt like there was connection between us and after a few dates, I feel like I’ve known him for years, I would go.

I do not like camping in the woods but prefer the nice Hotels with room service. That is what I am use to dating even when I was married. I do like fishing and Outdoor festivals and Campfires with Pig Roasts or marshmallows'. No sleeping in any RV, campers or tents.

      That don't smell like campfires!

I think camping with people is an excellent way to get to know someone. There are no distractions and you can tell how a person deals with life by the way they camp |

After two or three dates? I would decline. I do actually camp in tents and sleeping bags, but not with someone I hardly know.

Good to see you nearly all have a sense of adventure, even with some reservations.

I Would have to be compatible with a man for it to have any lasting Dating relationship. I have had several Men that I'm compatible with in Activities. Only a couple I did not want to continue. Looking for serious Exclusive relationship usually take people LONG time if at all especially older adults.
