What puzzles me about all this is, how a young woman from Sweden, a very successful one at that, having everything that comes with that meets a broken down diesel mechanic on disability 25 years older then her. I would think they move in very different social circles. I cannot see them meeting in any kind of social setting frequented by both millionaires and those on benefits, and I very much doubt it was the result of a dating site. Sorry but I think your story is "a load of baloney".

As has already been said here, scammers are very good con artists, they will say what you want to hear. If you feel that sort of connection, arrange to meet them as soon as possible, or a video call, Scammers will not want that, doesn't fit with their hidden agenda, so better to move on. Until you meet them in the real world, don't be drawn in to the fantasy they try and create. Good luck min your search.

It seems to me the groups on FB where the ladies state of dress, or more appropriately state of undress, are attracting the very people they want to attract, I am sure if you search the internet you will find many similar dating websites. The fashion world with it's influence on what clothes women wear, is constantly pushing boundaries of decency in my opinion, making it increasingly harder for women to maintain their dignity but they always do. I think most women want to be fashionable, the young women in particular, and I don't blame them for that because it can make them more attractive and tantalising to most guys which is what it is all about, isn't it.

Thanks everyone for all the comments.

In general here in the UK. I believe things are better for most people today than they were in their parents day, life has gotten better, but I am not so sure that children today will enjoy something better in the future. The computer age resulted in job losses, but the advancements in technology particularly AI will see even a far greater number of job losses. Examples, we are to see trials of 'Driverless' buses and taxis introduced on to UK roads early next year. What will replace all those jobs lost? Will the rail and aircraft industries follow in loosing drivers and pilots, will the marine industry build fully autonomous ships which sail with no crews. Many other jobs will be lost in all sorts of industries, affected in different ways. I don't think Jeff Bezos CEO of Amazon need worry, but what are most of the rest of the population going to do, even jobs filling local supermarket shelves is probably at risk, it's not looking good right now in my opinion.

Is the present better than the past, do you think the future will be better than the present?

What are your thoughts?
