The bible. Truly, it is GOD who will have the "last laugh" and "last word"!!! NO ONE will ever successfully negate and eliminate the absolute truth of the Bible! As Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (Matthew 24:35) A WORD TO THE WISE IS SUFFICIENT! And "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Proverbs 1:7) ahhhh a thumper... i love thumpers... You act as if we "non believers" simply dont know better or we just turn a blind eye to your book. You never stop to consider, maybe some of us walked your path. Some of us know this book better than you do. SOME of us, EVEN went farther down the road of enlightenment than you!! I wont argue the faults of a book with you because i know you have already formed an opinion. But i will say this.... The bible has suffered MORE damage and change from its believers and writers than it will ever suffer from its foes. I and others like me are watching your book and your faith fall apart from its own protectors. In the end, a man wrote that book, and a man is failable. When you show me a book with GOD'S OWN SIGNATURE and GOD ready to show up and say.... I wrote this with MY OWN HAND and not that of one of my staff, i'll be more apt to believe it. All I can say is, it is YOU that will be what you obviously are now. And that is THE LOSER! You make such "off the cuff" "Pat answer statements" as you post here, and this is NOTHING NEW! Trust me, in 29 years as one saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, I have heard just about every excuse under the sun and every so called "valid arguement" about WHY the Bible is NOT TRUE! OK Lording, Please explain the connection between Moussawi and our government. For example: August 15, 2001: After only a few days training to fly a 747 at a Minnesota flight school, terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui is arrested and detained in Minnesota on the excuse of an immigration violation. The FBI confiscates his possessions, including a computer laptop, but doesn't have a search warrant to search through them. Moussaoui acted so suspiciously that a flight school staffer warned the FBI about Moussaoui, saying, "A 747 fully loaded with fuel could be used as a weapon!" One local FBI agent speculates that Moussaoui might "fly something into the World Trade Center." Minnesota FBI agents quickly become frustrated at the lack of interest in the case from higher ups, who refuse to allow the agents to ask for a search warrant from a secret court that, in over 10,000 cases from the FBI, that had never turned down a warrant request. French intelligence then gives evidence clearly tying Moussaoui to al-Qaeda, including evidence that he had trained in Afghanistan on several occasions. But an official at FBI headquarters edits out all the information tying Moussaoui to terrorism, and another attempt to apply for the warrant is rejected. One Minneapolis agent warns that FBI headquarters is "setting this up for failure," and another agent later asks: "Why would an FBI agent deliberately sabotage a case?" A few weeks earlier, the headquarters official handling the Moussaoui case was also sent a copy of the Ken Williams memo warning that al-Qaeda terrorists might be training in US flight schools, but he apparently fails to see the connection. The search warrant is not approved until after the 9/11 attacks. Too late, evidence is found suggesting Moussaoui could be involved in a hijacking involving New York City. One newspaper claims that information on his computer "might have been enough to expose the Hamburg cell, which investigators believe was the key planning unit for 11 September." If you discount the Theory of Evolution solely because of human error, misinterpretation, or misconduct (real or perceived), then , if you wish to appear unbiased, you must use at least an equal level of skepticism in regard to the (many) Creation myths. The bottom line is: Are you going to understand the Theory of Evolution or believe in the Myth of Creation? Better yet, are you intelligent and open-minded enough to find an accommodation between the two? What I want to know is: What about Zacharias Moussawi, the Al-Quaeda operative whose current residence is the high-security Supermax prison in Florence, CO? He attended a flight school in Eagan, MN to learn to fly a Boeing 747 jumbo jet until a flight instructor got suspicious and turned him in. If 9/11 was plotted by our government and not Al-Quaeda, how do you explain Moussawi? Just how much do you understand about how our government really operates? |

I have seen you tell people they are delusional for believing in God. I have seen it more than once in more than one topic. "These criteria still live on in modern psychiatric diagnosis. In the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, a delusion is defined as: A false belief based on incorrect inference about external reality that is firmly sustained despite what almost everybody else believes and despite what constitutes incontrovertible and obvious proof or evidence to the contrary. The belief is not one ordinarily accepted by other members of the person's culture or subculture (e.g., it is not an article of religious faith)" Since God cannot be shown as a false belief, that there are a large number of people that believe in him, and that there is no obvious proof or evidence to the contrary, then according to psychiatric diagnosis these people are not delusional. Also just because things cannot be seen or understood does not make them delusions and I stand by saying that your are using "An Argument from Ignorance". Absence of proof is not the proof of Absence. Good post...

Well said sir. Didn't any of you see the crocodile hunter episode where he got to ride in an f-16? They even let him fly for a bit and the pilot was telling him how easy it was to steer once you are airborne. As for a trailer tractor.. he said truck so I would think he meant truck. He didn't mention anyone learning how to operate a rig. If a kid was taught to operate one though I don't see why they wouldnt be able to. A Boeing 767 does not handle, in any way, shape, form or fashion, like an F-16. Comparison: Luxury yacht vs. sport boat. I've flown a 737, an F-4, and an AirCobra; how about you? |

Is the kitchen sink the only one clogged? If yes, then here's what I did:
I went to the hardware store and bought a PVC cap that fit on the end of the dishwasher drain extension (don't have a dishwasher? Buy just the extension $1.99 and cap $1.99), and a really cheap green garden hose. Removed all the elbows, etc. from under the sink. Turned the drain extension around and shoved the unthreaded end into the metal drain pipe and tightened it up using the collar provided. Fastened one end of the garden hose to a hot water supply (I used the laundry room). Cut the other end off of the garden hose and connected it to the small tube on the side of the DW drain extension using a hose clamp. Turned hot water on full blast and waited until it dislodged the clog (you will hear it go). Worked like a charm for less than $10.00. Make sure the water is uber hot. [WARNING] If hose begins to bulge, ABORT, ABORT! Get a better hose and try again. The air compression gun will work well for small stationary clogs, but not so well for build-up in the pipes. They run between $16.00 & $45.00. The only thing that works really well is a power snake (drain auger) attached to a drill. |

No, it shouldn't be changed. It was designed as a protection against a foreign power installing a "ringer" into office, and, in essence, taking over the reins of our government. It is not a perfect preventative measure, but it gives us some measure of assurance that someone with basic American values & loyalty will be elected. As we can see from the current administration, though, it doesn't always work out in our country's best interests.

I would think that the hard part would be getting these planes on target. Imagine trying to find your way accross the sky flying at 500 miles an hour, one small error and you overshoot your target...these limited pilots managed to go 3 for 4. I am still waiting for your facts jistme all you have done is go into denial. just a quick reminder b4 you go off into self delusion land...these "piolots" were trained "poorly" to fly small single engined aircraft...it would be like asking a high school kid to drive a truck right after he got his auto liscence.. and drive this truck to california without incident.
Well there was a 15 yr old run away from Michigan who stole his parents care with his gf and drove it to louisiana .. 1000 miles. I do like how you ignore all the facts everyone else posts though. Tell ya what. If you do flight training, get a license, practice on a flight simulator, then steal a plain and try ramming it into a huge building at 500 mph and prove to me that its just too difficult then I will just have to disagree. I believe he was referring to something a little more complex than "Mom's car"; a tractor-trailer rig for example? He is also correct regarding his observation of the "terrorist's" piloting skills. Even the instructor at their flight school said that they were such poor pilots that there was no way they could have flown those jumbo jets, much less performed the aerial acrobatics required to accomplish their alleged feat of destruction. aerial acrobats? They made a turn or two and pushed the controls downwards. You say acrobats, like they were doing barrel rolls and such. Anyone can fly a jumbo jet nowadays, at least in a basic function. All they'd need to know is how to steer, where they were heading, and how to make the plane go fast or slow. And they did, and crashed into the two WTC Towers and the Pentagon. I meant "alleged" as applies to "their" identities as "terrorists", and role as pilots, as popularized in the media. A high level of piloting skill may not have been required at the WTC (though I've read statements by professional pilots to the contrary), but it most certainly was at the Pentagon. Those jets respond sluggishly at best, and it would be like trying to thread a needle to do what they supposedly did considering their skill level. In my opinion (and I'm nowhere near alone) those planes were piloted by experts, remote controlled, or had their autopilot modified in-flight by someone who knew exactly how to bring them to target. The Pentagon incident is extremely controversial, as there are many unanswered questions & inconsistencies in the type, location, and intensity of the damage physically observed at the site, compared with what should logically be present. Don't forget dozens of conflicting eyewitness reports (not an issue at the WTC). |
