That's funny. Not funny funny, but not adding up. I haven't seen a post from Bexter in a long time. No post on this subject from her. She's a wonderful lady. I thoroughly enjoyed her company, each time that I had the privilege to be with her. Alabama and Alaska are consecutive, on the pull-down list of States...but thousands of miles apart, in reality. Not so funny, really.... Would you like me to ask Rebecca to confirm it, just especially for you, old chap? I'm sure she'd be happy to do so. She tells me that she remembers that you were a very nice man. We've been very busy, with the relocation and all, and we're about a week or so away from closing on our new house, right here in central Alabama. |

...but it was definitely worth the wait!
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation and "JustSayThanks" to "JustSayHi" for providing the service that they do, which has helped me to find the Love of my life. So, online dating DOES work, if you are honest, forthright, and willing to put some real effort into it, as well as take that chance when it presents itself. My Lady Bexter and I have, so far, conquered time, geography, and not a small number of fears, to forge a wonderfully magical relationship, and are exquisitely happy together. The future is, once again, a beautiful thing. This is not a 'goodbye', but, rather, a 'Thank You', as well as sincere wishes for the best of luck during the search, to all of the wonderful people I have encountered on this site, also looking for happiness. |

In parallel universes, there are no time travel paradoxes. You could time travel and change the future or the past. Whatever you change about the past or the future only applies to the parallel universe that you time travelled to. One could say that our lives are predetermined by looking at the past. The past is not changeable within our own universe. There are as many different pasts, as there are memories of the past, and there are as many different futures as their are dreams and intentions. It is all in the mind, all in the implicate order of the universe. To live it is what makes it real. The observer is what creates reality. JB "Quantum foam makes me roam" ? Interestingly, there is a strong current theory that there are a finite number of universes in the multiverse. The number? 6 to the 6th to the 6th. How's about that? |

though unlimited, an hologram is a nonexistant image of something. I refuse to think I'm part of nonexistant image. If i were to learn that the universe were an hologram. Life would be meaningless, and I'd ask to be deleted from such nonsense. Request granted. JKOC! |

If you take it to it's logical conclusion, it starts to look more and more like a reality similar to the "Matrix", where everything is just "quantum" code; possibly so complex as to be near unfathomable, but code, none-the-less.

I've seen armed men back down from a well trained German Shepherd. Being in possession of a firearm does not necessarily mean that you are in possession of a set of walnuts. |

This makes a lot of sense to me...I can also see Stephen Wolfram's work, especially the concepts of 'Universality of Behavior' and 'Processes of Perception & Analysis' linking well with the observations of 'Implicate & Explicate Order'. Wolfram's research strongly indicates that there is no such thing as "randomness" or "chance", at least when it comes to the physical world, with the existence of all things governed by mathematics - it's all based on the numbers. Even the organization of the grains of sand on a beach is determined according to a definable (albeit complex) mathematical formula at any given moment.
His book (A New Kind of Science) was one of the most elucidating I've ever read. It actually changed the way I thought about everything. I read Schopenhauer's 'The World as Will and Idea' years ago, which also ties in with this, as a "cosmological sci-philosophy". I'll have to see if I can pick up a copy of The Holographic Universe somewhere. Great post! |

Guys I grew up with and haven't seen in a long time - sure, no problem. After all, we've been through a lot together. Male relatives? The traditional "one shoulder to one shoulder" brief touch, with a firm handshake.

Although, so far, there's no known treatment for death's crippling effects, still everyone can acquaint himself with the three early warning signs of death: one, rigor mortis; two, a rotting smell; three, occasional drowsiness.
