It's funny... here, you'll have about one third National news topics like politics... half is international affairs, and the rest is chitchat and sports... mostly sports... and even less chitchat when you watch pulic channels, which are still pretty big here... and news will make up two to four hours per day on full service channels... added up with news magazines...
On U.S. channels, I had the impression half of the time goes to chitchat... a quarter each to national news and sports... and if there is any time left, they'll mix in some international events, slightly beyond the chitchat level. And I don't count news of U.S. "expeditionary forces" abroad as international news... |

Oh, I found a french report that it is a sham - well, Fox News is in for a hard time, tho, as this spreads all over facebook, tumbler, and the usual other suspects... :D
Thanks for making me look... Okay, the only source I found about this is a french site that claims that a Fox spokeswoman said it has never happened - If I were her, I would say the same, be it as it may... ;) Beyond that, this pic (the original screen one) spreads like wildfire... |

at least your honest......I have always wondered why some people only show a head shot or just 1 pic????? Could be 10 yrs old? Or the cartoon pics?   Well, she said she wanted to know!? This area is "RATE my profile", when I last looked, not "Praise my Profile, whether it is good or not"!? ;) Plus *I* think an honest rating can be helpful to improve... I rather have someone tell me constructively what's wrong, and I improve it, than saying "You are WONderful!" while secretly he rolls on the floor laughing his *** off!? |

The pics don't really show anything distinguished... I like kisses, but not on pics; apart from that nobody who saw you on the street would know you by the first one, and the second one - well, the hand covers too much of your face anyway (wonder if I would recognize the hand!?)... |

Ive read the pursuit of happiness and watched the movie. Very worth it. And im thoroughly enjoying reading the posts in this thread. Its very interesting to see how people feel about this subject. *GG* This book is called "Pursuit of UNhappiness" and kind of a backward book on how to get happy... or at least how to avoid things that will definitely make you unhappy. Not the Will Smith movie... :D |

:D Well, actually, Paul Watzlawick is a psychologist and communications expert... he wrote some very good books... like "The Situation Is Hopeless, But Not Serious: The Pursuit of Unhappiness" and "Ultra-Solutions, or, How to Fail Most Successfully" - make great reading, both of them ;)
