Well, he returns way too often for my liking, which means he leaves for that place and others the like just as often... As Long as he keeps the number of safe returns matching the number of his departures... But still, I thank you for your prayers!
I mean, he chose to be a soldier. Soldiers have to fight, and some of them will die. Question is, why they die... Great words, guy... Wonder what would happen if I just sat myself... Say at the Grave of the unknown soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and burned an American flag!?
Be that as it may - my brother is over there regularly, and those guys who thought of a cute way of having fun ( if they thought at all) make his safe return a bit less sure... Definitely NOT funny... |

Actually, there are times when I consider myself even luckier with my way of life than usual - One of the biggest drawbacks (I will never have kids without going far out of my way) is One of the greatest gifts in the other hand.
Yet I have an opinion on that point... Both partners share the fun, but only one partner bears costs and risks? Now c'mon, Nobody in his right mind can think of that as a partnership, can you? And to those that can't afford the pill, it should be given free (but actually, even in the "quasi-socialist, unbearable for Society" geman healthcare system, that is not a fact - health insurance here covers the neccessary checkups, but not the pill itself). As you stated above, each unwanted pregnancy costs the society more than free contraceptives for a whole bunch of women for their whole life, not counting what it costs both mother and child for life - and I'm not talking about money here... |
