Alvin and the Chipmunks was really good. We have a cinema where you get the movie, popcorn, and soda all for $5. I am waiting for it to go there to see it a second time.

All of that for $5? Wow.
The average price for all of that at an average theater is close to $20.

Looks like I'm going to your theater!

Look at my picture.

I win.

Nice try...lol...

You don't understand. A 32 year old woman told me I looked like a Psycho.
Therefore, I win by default.

So do you beleive what everyone tells you..can you validate the fact that you are creepy......

I don't have to flex my crazy muscle because I already know I got it.
and no, I don't believe everything everyone says.
This woman was right, though. I, too, believe the picture makes me look crazy.

Wow. Some of you are taking this a wee bit too far.
Haha. No, logic doesn't control my life.
I like to have logic in my thoughts but it's nothing I build my life around. Hell, some of the stuff I practice and do doesn't seem logical to a lot of people.

Just to point out something...

I don't sit in the forest and meditate, nor do kids point and laugh. I just put that down because it was what i was thinking of at the time.

I am sure I will get married one day, or maybe I won't.

Everyone is getting married and having kids.
It seems that a lot of young couples are doing this.
I can understand why they want to get married, and I wish them well... but I can't help to realize that it is a bad idea.
I don't see anything like that working out so soon.
This is one of the reasons why I am not getting married anytime soon: I am 21.
If I want to get married, I'll wait until my lover and I are both financially stable, we have a house, and we have the time for our kids if we ever do have them.
That, for me, is the most logical thing.

If you ever want to see how simple we've become, turn on the TV. Keep it on for about 10 minutes, allow some commercials to play, and come to your own conclusion.

It's simple to dwell on the past. It's also just as simple to live in the moment.

Time ruins us.
Two times a year, we have to either gain an hour or lose an hour. If there was no time, there would be no New Years.
And if there was no New Years, downtown Austin would be tame and somewhat quiet.

If somebody dies every 12 seconds in a car related accident, and you live in China, does it still apply?

Perhaps the best way of avoiding fights or confusion is simply to learn how to understand.

People frown upon me if I want to meditate out in the forest.
It is almost like I become a spectacle for all of the kids to point and laugh out, while calling their friends and telling their friends that some "Buddhist, monk type guy who likes to meditate in the forest... is meditating in the forest. Then, those friends tell their other friends, but then the story turns into some Psycho from Texas who likes to sit with his eyes closed in the forest is really some guy who is agoraphobic and also likes to jam out to Rob Base. Imagine that.

It has recently come to my attention that, even though I may not talk or see the majority of people I've met in my life, a good amount of them have left a mark.

If I am not able to talk to someone I was close for a long time because... of well, anything.... I would not be sad.
I could be happy that the person was in my life.

This does not mean that everyone leaves a mark.
There are some that are more influential in a way.

I am not sad to look back and realize that I am probably never going to see someone again, or maybe I will never be as close to them as I once was.
And why?
The people who've made an impact on my life have given me the opportunity to see a new reality; to experience something you never thought you could; and to feel things you may have never felt before.

There are even those I do not care much for anymore, but I appreciate the time that they were in my life.
They may have made my reality blissful or they may have made it terrible. Either way, I learn. I experience something new.

People will come and go all of the time in your life.
A lot of people will be non-existant.
Some will leave a mark.
And only a few will truly change you.

Allow your mind to remain open when meeting a new person.
Chances are, the new person is going to have an impact on you.

Seems I've wrote a few papers on this subject before.
This subject may be a tired one, but it is something I notice a lot.
I realize that some things will not change, and I realize that in our country, there always has to be the controlling factor.

Anyway... on with my post.

Ever been at that age when everyone your age or older is currently attending college, and they all think you should too?
Well, I have been at that age for about 3 years now.

I graduated high school in 2004. Two weeks after I graduated, I immediately enroled into college. Six weeks later, I left.
A year goes by. Then, I go back to another school. I stay for 2 and half months and then I leave.

Why did I do it? First off, the first time around was completely rushed.
The second time around was a change of heart.
So, here I am, 21 years old, and not attending college.
Is this a bad thing? No.
The general public may think so though.

It has got to the point in America that if you do not have a degree in something, you're not worth much.
People throw countless years away slaving over school work so they can heopfully have a good career when they are older.
That is all well and fine... but what if you do not want to? What if you want to wait? and what if you don't want to go at all?
Does that make you a bad person? Of course not.

I feel that if anybody wants to get back into school, they need to be 100% sure that they will want that career for a long time.

I see too many people jumping into school too quickly, and because of their quick decision, they do not want to quit because of the money involved. They may also not want to quit because their family is counting on that person to graduate.

Look, just do what makes you happy.
It doesn't matter if you want to work as a janitor the rest of your life. Just be happy with what you do.
A degree makes you no better or no worse than anyone else.
Don't feel pressured into working a job that you do not like.

So, kids, the moral is...
Don't rush into your career unless you are absolutely sure you want that career.
Also, if you do not want to further your schooling, I won't think any less of you. I may think even more of you!

Completely agreed.
and yes, I do understand metal. I've been listening to it for a good majority of my life. I simply named off those genres because, typically, people who tend to vibrate on a lower frequency do listen to that stuff.
Those genres were a simple generalization.

But yes, any type of music can put any type of person in a different mood.

Sorry to point out just some genres.
