Both parties want the “power”, it is built into the constitution on which party is majority, minority and how the house and congress operate. To think otherwise is being very naive, not socialistic, and exactly how a democracy works. Wrong! A true democracy is a government set forth by the citizens of a country to invest and protect in the welfare of those citizens. That is not accomplished by enacting polices that are proven to be disadvantageous to those citizens. In previous posts I’ve stated several of those policies and the only defense I’ve seen is how a new administration has to review the present policies. Reversing isn’t reviewing. To think otherwise is being foolish. Show me where anything has been reversed already, I’ll wait. Oh and can you tell me what the ultimate goal of the pipeline is and what the environmental studies have shown? |

Under the new socialist plan the government will pay for all your medical care and drugs. Of coarse many people are already on this program, but if you are actually one of the working people get prepared to be taxed 70% of your income. When the government pays for something verses individuals then nobody looks at the price so they can charge whatever they want. Under Obama care they insurance companies charged the people a fortune or didn't even offer coverage in many areas. Trump not only tried to lower drug prices but he also made it so insurance companies had to pay out 80% for claims and could only make 20% for administration costs, saved me thousands. Part of the reason the US pays so much for all medical things is the outrageous restrictions they put on everything and peoples ability to sue for outrageous amounts for anything that may go wrong. Have you seen all the commercials that say if you used this drug or had this procedure you may be able to collect? Also with all the drug advertising people take way too many drugs in the US and then they need to take other drugs to counter act the side affects, not to mention the Opioid abuse. Things are often best left to the private sector because the government just screws them up and wastes tons of money on them. The 80/20 rule has been the medical loss ratio for quite some time prior to Trump. What occurred during Trump’s administration is Covid brought declines in payouts, boosting profits, which normally would have to be paid in rebates to insured. Trump excused them from 80/20 rule allowing them to keep profits. Perhaps your savings came from an insurer who stayed with the 80/20 rule and applied it to lower premium costs. That’s Obamacare, not Trump. |

Anyone losing a job is not good, but the facts regarding the Keystone XL pipeline show that there’s misinformation going around concerning job loss.
Most construction has been stalled prior to the executive order, awaiting permits in legal battles. Construction, when underway would employ about 10,000 temporary construction workers. Once operational the entire pipeline would only need about 35 people to perform operations. There is also a class action lawsuit against the union supplying pipeline workers for racial discrimination and female workers. I do believe taking the 100 days to review is not too much to ask. |

Can you name even one crime that he committed while in office? I don’t mean empty accusations of crime, but something that actually has a little bit of actionable evidence behind it. Again, I’m not a Trump supporter (though I’m sure you probably think I am), I simply do not see how so many people have bought into this. It’s no different than a religion... you’re believing in something that can’t be seen or touched or measured, but must be taken on faith in the word of your priesthood.
