Hello from Newfoundland everyone... how is everyone?
Are there any other Newfoundlanders on this site?... I have been away from this site for a while.. hope to get back into the groove.. what's new?

Well hello everyone

I used to be here frequently but have not been online in a while. It is nice to be back and see Canadian chit chat... I am from Newfoundland, living in a little town called Heart's Content.. I have travelled across Canada and loved all the provinces I have been in... I was wondering if there are any other newfies out there??

I, for one, like nice guys. Sure I was attracted to the bad boy type
when I was younger, its the excitement of going against the grain. But
since I have grown older and hopefully wiser, I see people for much
more. I have recently met a man, a really nice guy, on another site, who
makes me laugh, keeps me interested, who is not a door mat or a sap. I
really like this guy and do not want to mess up a chance at happiness if
I can help it at all. I like to think that I have matured above the
shallow self-absorbed person I was in my 20's. I am so sick of fickle,
insecure men who think they are all that and a big bag of chips because
they consider themselves bad boys, I have learned (the hard way) that
you take each day as it comes and make the most of it, and believe me
nice guys ( guys who know how to treat a woman with respect and
sensitivity, honesty and integrity) make each day a gift.

Happy Birthday dylux, remember its wisdom you are gaining with the
celebrations you receive. Hope it was an exciting and fun filled for you

My daughter has kind of an original name I guess, well that is I haven't
heard it before or since... Both myself and her dad decided to call her
after both of us... We had the names picked out long before she was
born... at the time we did not know if it was to be a girl or a boy

My second name is Lynn and her dad's second name is Anthony so we had
the following names picked:

Toni-Lynn (one name) for a girl
Anthony Lyndon for a boy

... as it turned out we had a beautiful girl.

For my #1 man I would do almost anything, I like alot of different
things so getting freaky is not a problem.

But for the taste sensation king use warm melted chocolate and chilled
champayne instead of peanut butter, the warm and cool sensations are
really dramatically sexy and stimulating. I would do a threesome if he
wanted one but it would have to go both ways... one for him and one for
me, add the female for him then the next time add a male for me :-).

Actually there isn't much I wouldn't do lol... I have been submissive
and dominating in past relationships, depends on the mood... variety is
the spice of life after all right?

Honesty, Integrity, Honesty ..... Intelligence I would like but I can
work around it lol

I always say never say never, it tends to come back and bite you in the
ass.... but it would have to be a very special person, a great
relationship. I do not see it in my future but as Chica said time will
tell.. I was hurt very badly in my previous marriage and would not want
to open myself up for that again, but I would hope to learn from my
mistakes and have a better relationship than that one.

Nessa, hun, you are only 18, what you need is a guy who isn't looking
for anything lasting and just in it for the ride, geez I can give you a
list if you really want it... lol... it seems that is the only type I
find. If all you want to do is eat and fuck then girl there are
thousands out there for you.

I would prefer to have a man who shows me some respect and love, who
would cherish our time together and who would show me that I am the
center of his world as he would be in mine. That is much harder to find.

Wow is all that comes to mind right now....

Holy shit folks, I was gonna put in a post, had one in mind too, but
nothing that has happened to me even compares to what you guys and gals
have been through. My life seems like a walk in the park now, honestly.
I have been through alot of tough times and hard times but I have to say
I think you all are great and to be able to share such life changing
situations just shows how you have grown from your ordeals...

Good to know there are some people here who understand

then don't post the question or comment.

What is it with people making comments that they know will piss off 90%
of the population and then not expect someone to make a crack at them on
the posts? Oh, and when you do not like the comment your post gets is it
wise to email that person with derogatory remarks?

I have been receiving emails from a person on here who thinks I am an
enabler because I like to say positive things to posts that interest me
and he is being a real a-hole in all his posts.... is there anything I
can do to stop this?

I am fasinated by Wicca. I do not totally understand it, but the topic
is very interesting, I have been reading things about it. Was wondering
if you could point me in the right direction to finding some really good
information on the topic, I would love to learn more.

Love is a natural human emotion, one that blind sides us most of the
time. Hate is also a basic natural human emotion,usually based in anger,
it is how you react that takes you a step apart and able to move ahead.

I agree with sweetcountrygirl that you have to learn the lessons from
past relationships and move forward with new knowledge to help you
fulfill your life. If you don't learn the lesson you are doomed to
repeat the actions that bring you to that conclusion in relationships.

Just wondering where guys like you were when I was 20..lol ... Hell I
want a guy like you now, but there doesn't seem to be as many as one
would hope.

I think you are wonderful, just what most women, not girls, are looking
for. You are way ahead of your time if you have all this figured out at
the age of 20. It means you will make some lucky lady very happy when
you find her, unfortunately you have to go through a lot of lemons
before you make the best lemonade.

Ontario are you threatened because he has more maturity at his age than
you will ever hope to achieve in your lifetime? You need to grow up and
