Since Mister Peccy has all this questions, this morning I have one.
How much are you willing to pay for a house OR have already? |

Nothing! I never want to own a house. I have seen people go bankrupt for owning those things.

Haha. I know people do. I swear I should be living in Cali with the price my parents are spending on our new house they just had built.

My mother called me yesterday to inform me that the little 2bd home across the street from her just came down from 125 to 85. It's very, very small, but nice, clean, and has gorgeous hardwood floors. I'm doing some thinking...but I'm rarely home anyway so don't know if I'm ready right now.

Haha. I know people do. I swear I should be living in Cali with the price my parents are spending on our new house they just had built. I do not understand it. Cause sure you may have a low morgage like $700 a month, but then you got the taxes on top of that. Not to mention all your utilities and the mantnece on that house. And what ever added expenses you may find. I am much happier with my apartment. My utilities are covered in my rent so is any other maintnence that I need. And there is NOT taxes. |

Never owned a house.
And edit to say that I'm a bit of a nomad, I don't like to stay in one place for too long. Gets boring. |

Yeah, I am financial whiz. It's nice though..about 10 rooms, on three acres, undeveloped land behind me, so we can skinny dip in the pool.. |

My old saying that I have said for years and I am the original creator of this..."Always judge a person by the size of their front door welcome mat...not the house that it's attached to."

I had a house. When I became a single full time working Mom, I got rid of it.
A friend just got hold of a custom home built in 2003 for under $62 per square foot, which is awesome for her. Quick sale due to family death & slow market. That's a steal!!!! |
