Hey there!!I have been going through some tough days myself lately, my divorce will be finalized on the 19th of April and I heard it really sucks. Well it does!! Life can be one struggle after the next it seems for some. It could be a lot worse, there is always someone less fortunate than you/me. I'm approaching things that way, good luck i hope life treats you better tomorrow.

I think that is up to the couple involved. My ex and I never had a jealousy or trust issues with the opposite sex. She never complained when I would golf or have lunch with a friend, nor would I have a problem with her with lunches or coffee. There is a line that can be crossed though, we never went there.

Alcoholism is a very powerful disease. I have seen it in my family enough too, unless the individual is willing to totally surrender then there is really not much that can be done. Many times the fact they are getting help is just a way of getting other family members to leave them alone for the time being. Losing family members or divorce can open their eyes, but sometimes the disease has gotten to the point of no return, they just give up and would rather stay on the current course, than to imagine life without using. After so many promises from an alcoholic, family members will give up too. Getting to the core of why an alcoholic drinks and finding the external and internal triggers can be found through a good outpatient treatment and AA. Don't give up!!

Don't worry, I've been on this site four months and I still don't get it. BTW, welcome.

I'm not sure if it's a caveman thing, I feel that guys just put those things in their profiles to show some of their general interests. I for one do spend a great deal of time outdoors with my job, hunting, fishing, snomobiling, photography, etc, yet I don't camp. There a lot of things I read in profiles that I have not done, but I would be willing to try.
