people are ignorent of christianity and they do not change their ways or want to believe christianity because it would be too hard for them to give up things God says is wrong.

I am mearly stating a fact of how society treats christianity, I knew people who were muslim when I was in school who were given a time to pray in another room, yet Christians cannot pray quietly or lead a bible study or share our beliefs without it being called "shoving our religion down others throats"
when a buddest shares his belief it is called enlightend thinking.

BTW Kerry0 just because spider lost his temper only means that spider is human, We all have our faults and things that are hard for us to change and then sometimes we slip up and go to our old ways without meaning to do so.

I don't know, I think from my Experiences and what I have seen on here so far is that the people who are at least the most happy and content are us poor people..lol

My dad's side of the family does have a christmas tradition, though I tend to skip most year's because I really have nothing in common with that side.
What they do is everyone brings ONE gift and the gift has to be some kind of craft {My dad's side often make really nice things from wood} also that way if you don't have to worry about buying a gift everyone}

The Exchange Game:
So everyone brings ONE gift and picks a number from a hat, 1 Number for each gift then we go in that order, First person picks a gift and everyone see's, then the second person can either pick the last gift opened or go for a new gift, if the person picks the first person's gift then the first person picks a new gift and it goes on like this with people choosing along the way, we have set up rules to combat argueing over how many times one person can take back a gift and it seemed to work pretty good.
Maybe someone else would like to try this game this christmas and tell me how it went.

A guy walked up to me yesterday and asked me where the footballs were and I pointed and said "right against the wall"
it wasn't even far because all he had to do was turn his head!

I totally understand about the sign thing but you have to remember that people now days I guess are Illiterate apparently.
when I go to a store here's what happens for me, I turn my head in all directions and I see where I need to go, I grab what I need and I leave, no trouble, no questions.
In fact I hate to be asked "finding everything ok?" I don't like to be said "hi" to also but my boss always demands that I say hi to people when they walk in even though they get rude and never say hi to me half the time anyway.

I answer the phone and say our rederic "Get ready at ****'s Sporting goods this is Josh How may I help you?".

to which they reply "Yes, is this ****'S?
Did I not just tell them it was ****'s?

Then you have people come in in the last 5 minutes and still walk around like it's no big deal, mind you I tell them when they walk in theres only 3 minutes left...lol
I know who these people are because they call ahead of time asking "what time do you close?"
I caught this guy lying to me be cause he called and he asked what time we closed and I told him 9:00 pm, then he proceeds to chip in "I thought you closed at 9:30?"
If he knew what time we closed why did he call????

this one guy got irate with me for asking him for his zip-code, he started in about it being none of my business.
I kind of went off on him though and told him "sir it's no big deal I'm not using it for personal use, I can't possably find out where you even live from a fraking ZIPCODE, Like I'm going to waste my time knocking on every door in the county just looking for your dumbass!"
if you really don't want me to know just make something up and I'd never know that you'd be lying instead of yelling at me that it's none of my business!"

People don't look,Listen,Read or pay attention at all and it makes me want to smack someone.

He was a very cool badguy, I think he's one of the rare ones I wouldn't have mind winning.
although Shere Khan was very cool too, such a smooth badguy always reminded me of lex luther in alot of ways.

Daman, I know what you mean because I too am a nice guy but people get the wrong Idea about me sometimes and I don't even know what to think anymore about any of it.

I did these storys in "what pisses you off" but I wanted to hear some sad and stupidest moments you've had if you've worked retail.

I work retail at a huge chain and this woman came in and did a return on an item, she started to walk away and then AFTER she did the return she turns to me and asks, "Are you guys OPEN?"!!

Another time a cutomer came over and asked where our shoes were, I pointed to our back wall that has a hundred foot sign that says SHOES, not to meantion the fact that the entire back wall is all shoes doesn't hurt either.

Or when a custamer comes over to me and asks "is this store connected to the mall?" when there is a HUGE doorway right next to me that clearly is connected to the mall.

and then there are the people who don't pay attention, we make 3 pages over the pa that we are closing the mall entrance in 3 mins. and they come down and ask why the gate is closed.
"what do you mean I can't get out that way? you could have let me know!"
we did 3 pages in the last 15 mins. telling them to get out before we shut the gate and they have the gall to say we didn't tell them??!

I have a million of these stories and they all make me

1.People who can't pick a speed!!!!
I go to and from work and they speed up and slow down and NEVER stay the same speed!

2.People who can't pronounce Words Correctly.
Like when people say "Worsh" Instead of WASH, there is no R in wash!

3.People who ask Stupid Questions.

I know I'm coming in late with this but I Kind of agree with what UnionIronworker said.
We all do have a bit of racism in everyone and it's a sad fact because it is so wrong.
I do not treat any race differently but every once in a while I'll get this thought popped in my head and I'll be like
"WOAH! where did that come from?"
I believe that we all are the same but weather you are black, white, asian, Mexican or other races we all do have this prefix there.
I believe that we should only be one race and that's the HUMAN RACE.
I grew up with a malato {Maybe that's the wrong term but I don't know what else to call it} cousin, we were best friends, He was always just my cousin and nothing more/less then that.
I was so sad when he moved and miss him to this day.
I dated a black woman for a while and she was one of the most intelligent woman I have ever met, we were always on the same page and I loved her deeply but things didn't work out because they did work out with her husband {They were sepperated when we met and ready for devorce, I was glad for her when they got back together and now they have a beautiful daughter.}
I think it is how we react to the thoughts and how we treat others that is important.
There are people who show a blatent disregaurd for other races and then there are people who show a repsect to all inspite of what may come.
People don't like to Admit it but they do things without thinking, I see people pick black guys at basketball because their black, asians get thought of as Karate masters and math wizes, White guys are trailer trash or uber rich, Mexicans are thought as hard workers for low pay illigals.
No matter what race you are you have some kind of thought of what you are according to what you look like.
Even though people think they are enlightend and noble I think people don't want to be that way so it is still hidden in socity and subconsously.
We as a people need to know that being racist is not just a thought it is our actions toward others and what we will teach & Distil in our children & Grandchildren about equality for everyone not just our own race.

You can keep the normal ones because I like the weirdo's...lol

Maybe I've become jaded or something but right now I have noone to really Celebrate with.
Every year it's kind of the same, my brother,cousin {Good cousin} and I always go over to my aunt and uncles, grab food take it into the other room and eat and play our annual game of Monopoly. I'm not even kidding though it is funny to a point.
my brother is so sick of get togethers and all that, he even volenteers at christmas time for work to work late.

I have gotten to the point now that I cannot STAND Christmas!!
I hate the crowds and the same stinking music on every station and then in the mall too {I hate the Mall and avoid at all costs} and then everyone is violent toward everyone because of that stupid toy that their BRAT of a kid wants.
Most of my cousins kids are BRATS and all the stupid kids I see are all about the toys.
When I was a kid My folks couldn't afford alot so I was happy with whatever they could give and would have been happy without anything at all.
Now I could care even less about getting anything anymore because there's nothing I even want anymore, I have everything I need or want.
I just want to skip Christmas this year, not see my family not set anything up, not do anything except relax watch movies, eat Pizza and maybe play video games a bit.
that would make me very happy, I skip every other family function, Not because I don't like my family because I do like them.
I just can't stand how commertial this whole season has become, as a matter of fact, whenever I do get married {however long that takes} my wife will have it easy because I would never expect her to by me anything EVER!!!
I do like giving people gifts though, although in the past it's been hard to do it because of finances at times and that's a whole other story in itself.
another thing is that I would never argue with her if she wanted to go see her family every year if she wanted because I would be content with anything as long as I would be with her.

I don't have a fly swatter because I believe its a great way to 1.Feed the Spiders/give them a free meal.

After I woke up with a really weird green glowy spider on me I squished it and I then and there made a pact with the Spiders that if they didn't bother me any more I would leave them be to live their lives in peace ... LOL
