I only date men who have brains AND brawn and are around my own age. Sounds shallow, but it's actually quite scientific and sensible.
A man with muscle is not likely to possess any of the habits I don’t respect, such as laziness, or lack of interest in long term health and physical ability. I intend to live a long, active and healthy life, so why would I hook up with someone who won’t be there for the last 20 years of it? A man who is intelligent is someone I can talk to. He’ll be more likely to take an interest in the things that interest me and I will be able to build my own thirst for education in those things that interest him. I’ve dated both older and younger men and it’s just my personal opinion that the older ones feel like they’ve been where I am now in life and want me to skip ahead to where they are, and the younger ones are going through things in their lives that I’ve already seen and done. I would rather go through all the phases of life along with a partner, being neither teacher nor student, but equal participants in the experience. |

No, they should not...but in most cases they do.

I believe we're living in a throw away society. We don't like our cell phone, so we convince ourselves it's outdated to justify getting what we want...a new one. It's no different with relationships. We don't like what we have, so instead of working on it to make it better, we throw it away and get a new one.
I'm practicing the only proven method to stave off a divorce....never get married. |

Of course not a single Muslim will defend Israel or the United states or speak positive about Christianity. Thomas, This is an insultingly over exaggerated statement. Surely you don't truly believe that because YOU'VE never heard a Muslim say anything POSITIVE about Christianity, all Muslims want to kill westerners. How many Muslims have you heard, and when was the last time you said something positive about a religion that goes against the traditions you personally believe in? It’s highly uncommon to compliment or encourage a religious belief you don’t support, but that doesn’t mean you want them dead, does it? If you don’t believe there are Muslims who differ from the radical practices the terrorists employ, and came to the U.S. to escape their cruel form of government, take a closer look at your own example of the Ayatollah…there are two sides to this coin. The Shah was PRO- American, with a good portion of his country behind him. It wasn’t for lack of support that he left, there were two contributing factors that outweighed the huge numbers in his country who were backing him; first, the Ayatollah came in with mercenaries from all over the middle east…most of whom did not even believe in his cause, but simply followed orders, and secondly, the threat of Russia knocking at the border doors. The Ayatollah did not come to power with the support of the Iranian population. Huge numbers of Muslims died fighting his forces. Want another reason? Ask Jimmy Carter how his promises to support a westernized Iran turned out. That no Muslim will defend America is simply not true. I personally know 2 American Muslim men who have died fighting for America. I know one other who is fighting in Iraq now…and I don’t know that many people, so have to assume there are many more Muslims defending America. This is not my opinion…this is a fact. There are Muslims who defend America. |

I'm sorry Joe. I thought you were stating that all Muslims are responsible. You obviously believe there is a difference between true Muslim practice and "fanaticals". no, i believe there is good and bad in every group.. it does bother me that the Muslims that are not involved don't do anything to stop it tho... but then again, maybe they are, in their own way A Muslim friend says that the Muslims who lived in Iran during the Ayatollah's takeover lived thorough such hell, they would be too afraid of backlash to speak out ever again. From some of the stories she's told me...don't really blame them. American born Muslims should be crying out in huge numbers though...I agree. |

Muslims and Jews have been at war for thousands of years...of course they will both say things like that about each other. the Jews aren't innocent either... but right now, the Jews are not the problem. I suppose not, if you are only concerned with terrorist acts in the States, and not terrorist attacks on American facilities abroad...like maybe Cairo. I don't believe all Jews are terrorists because of those and other acts against westerners. Had they succeeded, many more would have been killed than were in the World Trade Center. Isn't it the deed that counts, and not the success of the attack? If so, than it's no different in my eyes. It just surprises me that while most Americans have no idea Jewish terrorists groups even exist, an attack that causes casualties has non-Muslim citizens believing all Muslims are Jihadists, while Jews remain the most peace-loving religious group of all time. *scratches head while looking baffled* |

There have been some truly wonderful ads on this site: -- Gay Bear Dating (still not sure how they use a computer, though) -- The pumpkin-head guy who showed up around Halloween one year, and then just kept showing up sporadically at other times of the year, proving that, if you wear a pumpkin on your head, it's hard to keep track of the calendar -- Summercusp (she waved to me all the time) -- The ad for the site that claimed "You have 26 messages in your in-box" even though you never had an in-box because you never used that site because you didn't want to pay $29.99 a month to get 26 messages from the same scammer every day -- "Insane Lumberjacks with Ebola Dating" -- I like the more specialized sites, they have a certain intimacy about them.... The first one sounds like a game show topic. I'll take Gay Bears Dating for $1000, Alex. |

probably the muslims wrote that article...i don't remember any Jews flying into any buildings, or strapping any bombs to their butts and walking in a bus station... Oh, but they explained that... Look to Israel and you'll see plenty...Yaakov Tytell for example. I hope we don't let our hatred go that far. For them it started with believing that all Jewish people are terrorists. Hopefully we can lean a lesson from their mistakes. |

AhHa! I suppose Google is advertising to the 50 plus men...who want to date women that look 18, without feeling like perverts by actually dating 18 year old women. |

Does anyone pay attention to the ads in the margins here?
I just saw one, hosting a picture of, what looked like an 18 year old girl, but her posted age was 55! I know why a woman might pose as somewhat younger. ...but can someone EXPLAIN to me whatever would prompt a woman to advertise that she's OLDER? |
