Southeastern Wisconsin. Grandsons have their glasses and are very excited about the near total eclipse in this area.

Hi Tom,

Those are great choices for a classic movie. The original Gojira is a cool, and corny, movie. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend.

Tom4,
That is an awesome collection of movies! If you were to co-host on TCM what movie would you pick to show and why? Thanks.

Yes, absolutely!

People and emotions haven't really changed much over time but I do believe we benefit from taking a step back from all the "electronic distractions" in order to see and appreciate who and what's around us.

Welcome to Mingle2 GenuineSpirit.

Probably scammers hoping you'll reply so they can try and take you for all they can.

Spend some time on the forums. The real people tend to hang out there.

Welcome TL. Sad to say there are a bunch of weirdo's, fakes and scammers. It wasn't always like this.

There are some very good people on this site and you'll find some of them on the forums. Reading the messages will give you some idea as to what they're like.

Use common sense, don't give out personal information and require respect from others. Good luck and have fun.

Congratulations on having found a romantic relationship.

I think it's better if a person's job or financial well being is not dependent upon the person they are romantically involved with.

If the relationship ends, so may your PA job.

It's better to be financially independent. If job is boring (and most are)you could always look for another job that makes you happy instead of the PA job. Best of luck to you.

Only in bowling when you roll a 300 game.

There is no standard for someone who is "perfect" but there are people who might be a "perfect" match for you or me or another.

I think people are too complex in their thinking and actions to be considered "perfect". We grow, mature, change, make mistakes, learn and evolve.

There are also as many definitions of "perfect" as there are people.

Better to strive to be decent, honest, respectful, caring, loving, compassionate, sincere, generous and what ever other good things we can find to be.

A caring World,living in peace..........now that's perfection.

his reasoning? it's in our genes why fight it
my reasoning? it's in our genes fight like a mutha fuka

Hi Tmommy and thank you for such an important topic.

I'm not sure if basic personality traits can be changed but I believe they can be understood and controlled or at least kept in check some of the time.

The brain is complex and effected by physical injury, chemical imbalance, abusive environments which in part forms who we are. This will certainly effect a person's ability to change, to choose or even know right from wrong.

Behavior can be changed and like you stated early in the chat we (humans) make choices everyday.

I think in the case of addiction it's important to have a support group. Friends, family, mentor, church or someone to offer love, understanding and sincere, meaningful help when needed.

People can change, we can choose to change but we have to want to change and even then, as you eloquently stated, fight like a M.F.
