Well...I cannot speak for Christians.
I am Jewish from BIRTH. My mother is Jewish. Religion is passed from the mother. I am also Jewish because I believe in the practice and principles of my faith. I have dated the throughout the realm of faiths and no faiths (Catholic, Brethren, Pentecostal, Agnostic, Atheist, Jewish, etc). Dating out of your faith can cause difficulty with holidays, customs, etc. Just my 2 cents worth, M |

I second the idea for LDR support groups. And my beloved is only a 4 hour car ride away. I will be a wreck when he is deployed next year. Sigh.

I never forget. I send prayers for them all during Kaddish. Let us remember ALL those past preasent and future who fell in Combat from the first war we fought in as Americans to any to come. I lost 12 of my brothers in arms in my fifteen month deployment...i didnt know them all but they went there with me and i will not forget them. Even after i get out. Simple yay or nay? No such thing.
Met some of the best people ever on here. Traveled with them, hosted them at my home, cried on their shoulders, chatted at all hours of the day and night. They know who they are. However, a certain dimpled man from the left coast has some explaining to do!!!  M

Ahhh, each person (man and woman) are different. Could be a multitude of reasons why a man is in his 40's and not married.
Got to flip the coin on you...would you rather date a man that was divorced 2 or 3 times? Maybe I am jaded, but I used to introduce my ex-husband as my first husband. He now introduces me as his starter wife. Yes, we are stupid like that. M

when you find one let me know where you found him maybe there will be another... my bf of 10 mos steady but known him for years...just broke up with me because as he told me>> he cant handle my kids!...i have a 16 yr old son and 5 1/2 yr old twin boys, ive been divorced for 2 yrs. Ahhh, Lmstwins, it happens. He was not good enough for you and your boys. I've dated men with and without children. Current beau does not have kids and is okay knowing that I am not having any more. Just keep swimming! |

In the very beginning of an LDR right now. Only a 4 hour drive between us, but a deployment will happen in the future. Shudder! However, I think he might be worth it. Side note=It was not an online meet per se, it is an old friend from HS. I connected with his sister (who was also a friend back then), he contacted me when he was stateside. And the rest is history in the making.  M
