Once we got it set up, it seems to be working well. We just had a couple of glitches setting it up.

Decided that it's perfectly acceptable for him to break his glasses and lose his other ones and decide it's my fault. Was yelling at me then hung up on me. All I can say is it's a good thing I was at work or he may have just got knocked into next month. I give him a lot of leeway on the whole teenage attitude thing but he really crossed a line. I hope I managed to make myself perfectly clear that what he did was in no way acceptable.

Also, check with your vet on the declawing, many vets will no longer do this. If it's something you feel strongly needs to be done, it may take some looking to find a vet.

Us either, unless you count killing one 14 year old boy as "plans" laugh

Declawing IS barbaric and completely unnecessary IMO I did it once (when I was young and foolish) and after seeing what my cat went through, I will NEVER do it again.

A 4 week old kitten may need special diet, it is still too young to be weaned from it's momma and most kitten chows will be far too hard for their little teeth. There is kitten formula at most pet stores (I think even Walmart may carry it). You will most likely need to soak kitten chow to a mush in that for the next few weeks or more.

You should take it to a vet as soon as possible for a check up but first shots won't be until about 8 weeks and you cannot spay a cat until they are about 6-8 months old. Since it is outdoors, you really want to watch for fleas, ticks, and ear mites. Not easily treated in kittens as traditional treatments are too harsh for such a young kitten.

Get a scratching post, cover it in catnip and encourage the kitten to scratch and play on that, sharpening their claws is a natural instinct but they can and will learn where it is appropriate and where it isn't.

Good luck to you

and see i think that is my biggest fear that it is just a one thing and not the real thing

I'm not saying you don't have some kind of feeling but it takes time, sometimes a LOT of time to know exactly what the feeling is. Infatuation is incredibly intense but generally speaking, very short-lived. Love, on the other hand, can grow out of infatuation but the intensity lessens and turns into something deeper, more stable, more sustainable. And the only way to know is to give it time. There's no rush. If it's the real thing, it'll still be there. If it's infatuation, well, you'll find that out soon enough.

It's infatuation, happens all the time. If in 6 months you both still feel the same, then it might be love. You don't want a broken heart? Then take your time flowerforyou

There is nothing you can do, except learn to accept it and move forward with your life. She has made her choice (or had it made for her) and you have no control over that. The only control you have is over your life and choices and emotions.

The relationship is over. You are already second guessing him and trying to change him into someone he is not. Over.

Short, sweet and to the point. Yup, I think I have to agree.

It actually is cheaper, healthier (unless your dog has special needs) and environmentally more sound. It is time consuming, though no more so than cooking for your family.

I think for the most part when it comes to things, you should buy the best quality you can. As for food, no matter what the label, it generally comes from the same place as the name brands. With a few exceptions, I'll buy whichever's cheapest, generic or name brand. Spending a few bucks on a subscription to your Sunday paper for the coupons can save you a lot of money, too.
