That i am seriously afraid of....

so i have been talking with this woman for about 3 months now and we went out this past week, and not only has she revealed that she is falling in love with me, i am feeling the same way. Neither of us want to hurt one another but in the same instance we dont want to hide our feelings anymore. I am just seriously afraid that my heart is going to be shattered and i just dont know if i can repair it one more time

I'm not saying you don't have some kind of feeling but it takes time, sometimes a LOT of time to know exactly what the feeling is. Infatuation is incredibly intense but generally speaking, very short-lived. Love, on the other hand, can grow out of infatuation but the intensity lessens and turns into something deeper, more stable, more sustainable. And the only way to know is to give it time. There's no rush. If it's the real thing, it'll still be there. If it's infatuation, well, you'll find that out soon enough.

thats the funny thing, i have never been in love with an older woman, its a strange and yet great thing. And i know she isn't just using me to have someone in her life, i dont see her being like that
