I only have one bad habit. Lying about how many bad habits I really have.

The Abomination was the setting up of a false god in the Holy Temple. This brought about desolation. The Abomination of Desolation of old was a foreshadow of coming events. There shall be another Abomination of (that brings) Desolation. In our modern age, there will be a false god and a claim to be god in the Holy Temple after the daily sacrifice is taken away once again. Duality is a big part of understanding the scriptures. One a shadow of the other. Each has its own decription and time in prophecy.

God allowed divorce because of the people. Would God promote sin...no!.
The divorce of a pair of followers of the true faith was allowed but not
as God wished. Sin is transgression of the law....The law is the
commandments. If one of the true faith remarried another they would then
commit adultry....which is sin. Divorce is not sin.....adultry is. There
is not sin in certain cases even if one remarries. Adultry by the spouse
or the leaving of one by a non believer of the true faith.

All sin has the same penalty. Christ has pain the penalty for all that
accept it in a truthful form.

The pastor was in total error and not a minister of Christ's. His
statement has no value. God is fair and works in a way not understood by
most...including pastors. In the Bible you will find a scripture along
this line. "Many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and deceive
the many." This means that many will come saying Christ is Christ and
deceive the many. Most of the teachers of Christ and God teach a
different Christ and God than that in the Bible and do not even know it.
This is why so many find fault with God. God is fair and will be fair
with you and give you a true chance to understand the truth before you
are judged. Don't worry!

I am very sorry for your loss. There is nothing that will take away your
pain. Only time will dull the sharpness of it. You must take one day at
a time and wait for some relief. For now knowing that people understand
your pain and care that you hurt may help.
