Why in the world would anyone want to post a pic of themselves breast feeding to begin with? Would any of you want us men to post a pic of us taking a piss? That is a natural occurence as well.

If you want excellent protection pay for it...but if you can't afford it then AVG is your best choice unfortunatly.

Reading some of the reviews for antivirus would be my suggestion, then go from there. PCWorld is a great place to start.drinker

I took the time to reinstall firefox once again, there really isn't that much difference than Internet explorer, it's just as much as a resource hog, uses slightly a bit more memory 40k for firefox, 36k IE... and somewhat irritating as it constantly updates the current website every few seconds. I'll give it a few days to see how it performs compared to IE. drinker

yes I agree with you spider 100%

but her problem was with her browser taking forever to load

when a web page loads slow is that the 1st thing you assume? no...you check your internet speed...if that is up to par then you check for spyware/adware and virii...which you should always have that software installed anyway.

I know everybodies intentions were good but i think you would agree on what i said...it could very well save time and headaches. drinker

I can understand where you're coming from Mike, it's not something easily dealt with. All depends on how much you are willing to deal with. Perhaps you could try to get her to go to a doctor on one of her good days?I f she refuses then you've done all you can do.

Mandie you are wrong...depression is not something to be taken so lightly and everybody can't deal with it in the same manner. Kudos to you for beating it but it is a health problem not easily beaten. And never put someone down because they deal with depression...they are not freaks.

Kinda funny...every bodies 1st assumption is virri or adware...and you tell her download this and download that when it may not be anymore than a slow connection...she says she has a 100 mbps connection but if you look at your local area connection it always says 100 mbps...that is not her actual speed. DSL is well known for incredibly slow speed at times, which would cause the problem she has. Rather than download a bunch of software she may not need why not check to see what her actual downstream is? I can assure you it's not 100mbps That doesn't mean i'm correct but it should always be the starting point, then proceed from there. It could very well save a lot of time and headaches.drinker drinker

i would use that as a last option not a 1st...if all else fails then do a restore, and even that may not fix the problem if it's a hardware issue

i'm not sure but you may need to log on as administrator to change it. really not familiar with laptops. If it's not letting you change it then it may be a driver issue or the hardware itself.

check in device manager and look under display adapters for any kind of conflicts.
