An old man I know once told me this about Mardi Gras...(old Catholic Irish)

Whatever ye do there, ye do. In the morning ye get up, go to Confession and say three Our Fathers and three Hail Marys, and Bob's yer uncle and yer alright with the Almighty again. He gave us guilt because he gave us sin, and Confession because he gave us guilt...in the great plan all three cancel each other out. Do what ye want.

from the old man I know

lest ye do no harm

from a guy who once was actively seeking...you can only be messed with and beat down so long before you say enough is enough...its easier not to deal with the rejection.

i sold my trucking company when fuel prices first went out of line with the frieght rates...ive since moved across the country and started a new buisness...life is a struggle everyday...maybe my buisness will make it maybe it wont..i guess ill have a better idea after mardi gras season.

drugs and violence go hand in hand mostly over gangs fighting for turf to sell an illegal commodity..if its legalized gangs need to find a new occupation...i think it would actually curb alot of the street violence.

sure..they lose their drug buisness...then they be pimpinbg out teenagers who are all doped up offa the now legal drugs.

and breaking into houses more frequently..

gots to pay to play

how so??

they are doin that now...

and it would only get worse..and even more people would be exposed to this kinda crap.

You know I find it endlessly amusing that when things started going to *ell in a hand basket during the Bush administration some posters (you know who you are) stomped their feet and said it wasn't poor Shrub who was to blame..it was they asserted the fault of Clinton administration policies.

So, then these same posters, a week into the new Obama administration after eight years of Shrub, are asserting that it's all Obama's fault.

So...tell me...does Shurb have any accountability?

You people are really funny.

lol @ shrub....thank you... thank you...perfect

Good question, although at this time there are far more pressing issues as far as money.

think of the piles of money that would be freed up if we let those in prison on drug charges (non violent offenders) out of the system...stopped the dea from operation...and taxed the revenues generated through legal sales...

on drugs or are we watsting money that could be better used elsewhere??? just curious what people think...my personal opinion is legalization with taxation.
