It's 11:22 pm here in the Greater New Orleans area. So what you feel
like talking about? |

I am for boxing being a sport. I much rather see a couple of people in a
ring with gloves on boxing, then on the street killing each other with knives and guns to prove how tough they are. Football and hockey you have a gang going after one guy with the ball or puck. These sports have an few injuries with each practice and game, so they are no safer then boxing. Basketball you have one on one contact more and more. If you keep these as sports, so should you with boxing. |

I don't know about girls, as I am a woman. And yes, I am hot. I am told
how hot I am everyday. I am told how they would like to please me and show me how hot I get them! |

Pet Peeves
|
|
My pet peeve started where I work. People sitting on the table after
sitting on the floor and after sitting on the bench or stool where their feet has been. It is hard enough trying to get them to clean up after themselves and with the place full of staff infections, without them sitting on the table. Who wants to eat off of someone's butt. I tell them it is disrespectful of everyone in the cell block. |

For the olive salad: 1 gallon large pimento stuffed green olives, slightly crushed and well drained 1 quart jar pickled cauliflower, drained and sliced 2 small jars capers, drained 1 whole stalk celery, sliced diagonally 4 large carrots, peeled and thinly sliced diagonally 1 small jar celery seeds 1 small jar oregano 1 large head fresh garlic, peeled and minced 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1 jar pepperoncini, drained (small salad peppers) left whole 1 pound large Greek black olives 1 jar ****tail onions, drained Combine all ingredients in a large bowl or pot and mix well. Place in a large jar and cover with 1/2 olive oil and 1/2 Crisco oil. Store tightly covered in refrigerator. Allow to marinate for at least 24 hours before using. For the sandwich: 1 round loaf italian bread 1/4 pound mortadella, thinly sliced 1/4 pound ham, thinly sliced 1/4 pound hard Genoa salami, thinly sliced 1/4 pound Mozzarella cheese, sliced 1/4 pound Provolone cheese, sliced 1 cup olive salad with oil Split a muffuletta loaf (Shaped Round) or a loaf of Italian bread horizontally. Spread each half with equal parts of olive salad and oil. Place meats and cheeses evenly on bottom half and cover with top half of bread. Cut in quarters. Enjoy! Especially heated in the oven, the cheese melted, the meat hot, and the bread slightly crisp before slicing. The Olive Salad is good eating by itself too! |

Another one hits the dust! I wonder how many impersonators will flock to
Hawaii and homage to him. Many years ago my parent had all of his Hawaiian music albums. Summertime, above ground pool, weekend barbeque's, and Don Ho music, this was before Luaus became a summertime thing. Mom was ahead of her time! |

Little Johnny Being Nosey
|
|
Little Johnny asks his mother how old she is, and she replies, "Gentlemen don't ask ladies that question." Johnny then asks his mother how much she weighs. Again, she replies, "Gentlemen don't ask ladies that question." Then, Johnny asks, "Why did Daddy leave you?" His mother shouts, "Go to your room, young man!" On the way to his room, Johnny trips over his mother's purse and her driver's license falls out. He glances at it and then says with a grin, "I know all about you now...You're 36 years old, weigh 127 pounds, and Daddy left you because you got an 'F' in sex!" |

Spelling Test
|
|
One of the women with whom I work, Donna, has a son in third grade. Part
of his daily homework is to practice his spelling for his weekly tests. So, together, Donna and her son go over the words for the test, both meaning and spelling of the words. A few weeks ago, her son brought home his test. He scored 97%, missing only one word. The word was "clock." Part of the test was to use each spelling list word in a sentence. His sentence? "My dad gave my mom a clock for her birthday" -- only it seems he'd accidentally omitted the letter "L." Donna said there was no comment on the test, just the biggest check mark she had ever seen. |

For me it is a love people and a love of communication. With each
thought or word written there is knowledge being exchanged. Some of the best things result when people put their minds together, friendship and relaxation. This is my peace also, because of the hectic world I live. |

The Devil You Say!
|
|
A few minutes before the church services started, the congregation was
just sitting around chatting. Suddenly, the Devil appeared at the front of the church. Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate. Soon the church was empty except for one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence. So the Devil walked up to the man and said, "Do you know who I am?" The man replied, "Yep, sure do." "Aren't you afraid of me?" the Devil asked. "Nope, sure ain't." said the man. "Don't you realize I can kill you with one word?" asked the Devil. "Don't doubt it for a minute," returned the old man, in an even tone. "Did you know that I can cause you profound, horrifying agony for all eternity?" persisted the Devil. "Yep," was the calm reply. "And you're still not afraid?" asked the Devil. "Nope," said the old man. More than a little perturbed, the Devil asked, "Why aren't you afraid of me?" The man calmly replied, "Been married to your sister for 48 years." |

So far, I found that women talk as much as men, but men gossip more. I
seem to run into the men at work that love to start or spread rumors. |

Female Heart Attack's
|
|
Sometimes it is numbness in a one the extremities, like the hand or leg.
Sometimes you have a pain between the shoulder blades. Sometimes a tightness in the chest. There are many symptoms associated with a heart attack. Most people don't realize that if you feel symptoms, a regular aspirin may save your life. Always call 911 advise them of the address if possible, in case you are unable to give more information. Even a land-line hangup from your location will send out police, medical, and fire depts. You may not pay for home phone service, but plug in a phone anyway, you will still be able to dial 911 from it for help. Cell phones sometimes does not go directly to the 911 center that is in the area you are in, please give your name, location, even if it is a mile marker on a highway, a description of your vehicle. A cell phone even with out service can dial 911, so please keep one that is charged in the vehicle. If you have a cell phone that you no longer want or need please donate it you your local sheriff's office. It will go to a program to give cell phones to the elderly, battered women, and numerous other programs. They make it so the persons address shows up when they call 911. Example of why: a elderly person, that can't afford any other type of service, who has fallen and can't get to a regular phone can dial 911 for help. For any elderly persons out there please notify your fire department so that information of where a key can be located is entered on the emergency service screen, in case you are incompasitated, this will help emergency personnel can get in to help you. I know this information because I used to be a 911 operator and train others. Thank you for reading this. |
