This doesn't surprise me. The same may apply to hearing...In my
experience, men only hear 1/3 of what I am saying...lol

I know women talk more then men. Men are problem solvers....if you tell
them something....they mull it over and give you the solution in a short
sentence. Women on the other hand need to talk things out either with a
man or another woman in order to work through a problem or
situation...or just to verbally express themselves.

On the other hand I have known some men that will talk and talk and
talk...but yet say abosulty nothing!!!! They just like to hear
themselves talk.

That's odd. I read about a study not long ago where the conclusion was
that, contrary to popular belief, the results showed that men and women
actually talk about the same amount.

So much for studies. I guess it all depends on who's doing the study and
how it was performed.

How can you really measure something like that anyway? The
environment(s) that you choose to do the study in is going to bias the
results. I never put much faith in social studies. Too many factors
involved.
