What was the last movie that you had seen? What was it about? Did you like it? And why? How frequently do you go to the movies? Do you prefer to go to a movie theater, rent, or buy? The last movie I saw was "No Country For Old Men" by the Coen Brothers. I saw it on DVD that was sent to me by Screen Actors Guild (of which I am a member). It's essentially a period piece (late-70's/early-80's) about a dude in Texas who stumbles upon a drug deal gone bad and tries to amscray with a suitcase of money. From there, it turns into a series of rather F***ed up events including murder. Great movie, and even better characters. That goes especially for Javier Bardem who plays the psychotic hitman- he's just SO creepily-scary that you actually root for him when he decides to take someone out. I watch all my movies on DVD, most of which I will purchase. I hate going to theaters and i especially hate being gouged at the ticket booth. Thanks for giving an honest response. The last movie I had seen was Graves of Fireflies which is an anime feature length film. I have watched this many times, but as always, I tend to get choked up. I love it because it gives me, as an American, another perspective on war. Often times, when we think of war, as Americans, we forget to consider how this is affecting the victims, whose only crime was being born somewhere else. This movies isn't about blaming America though. Instead, it is about the social crisis of homeless children as a result of WWII and what happened to them. It is about how Japan and her citizens neglected these children. I usually buy my movies since I consider them my little treasures. I do love going to the theater. I especially love going to historical and older theaters. The newer ones are nice, but I just like old theaters. |

has anyone seen this one...The four feathers?? excellent movie by the way I agree. Very good movie. Heath Ledger was in that one. I don't recall who else, but I do remember that I was impressed with the acting and the storyline. Heartbreaking to watch though. It's on my list to re-watch since the details are a bit fuzzy in my memory. |

Whoaaaaa...drama on am anime thread? What's up with that? Anime is suppose to bring people together in love and harmony =P I am a huge fan of Yoko Kano and BoA and lots of others including Utada Hikaru and Namie Amuro. ^^ Aaaaaaannnnnnddddddd I'm still not watching Bleach =P The music is just one of the reasons, I love anime sooooo much. :) :) :) |

I'm talking about a video. Geez. I will if there's no choice, but it's too distracting. Besides, I bet I've seen more and know more about any anime, or movie than well, almost everyone on this thread. Some people really do know more about it than me, and that's how you know I'm telling the truth, I dont lie. And you did not know that there were several series of Gundam Mobile Suit????????????????? One of the most popular anime in Japan and the US. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, some expert. |

I just started watching Gundam Seed. I have been a big Gundam fan ever since I 1st began watching Anime.  What can I say? I love mecha! That doesn't make any sense. You just started watching it, but you've been a big fan since you started. What? You just started, but you make it out to seem like it's been a long time. There are varies different series of Mobile Gundam Suit. Gundam Seed is one of the more recent series. |

they suck, don't they? ugh my head hurts cuz im hung over i dunno if im drunk still jeez i need to stop destroying myself over ex sh!t. anyone been through this and made it out alive? long story short - silly drama. whenever i get in touch with my ex or get reminded of all that past drama, i either drink too much or chain smoke (tobacco) should i just ot talk to her ever again or should i...do something elsr>? Each situation is different. If it ended badly, then it may be best for both you to walk away. P.S. Sometimes, closure is not a realistic option. Chances are that you will have unresolved feelings no matter what you do. All you can do is morn the loss and learn to live with. Time does heal most wounds. When that does happens, you will find that you have moved on. |

I personally don't have a problem with dating outside of my race. What are your views on the matter? I think people place too much importance on race. If it is part of your heritage and who you are, I get that. If it means excluding others or you being excluded simply based upon skin color or physical appearance, I have a problem with that. Granted in the dating realm, it is normal to have preferences. I, myself, tend to like tall dark haired olive tone men, but that does not mean that I would not date a blond blue-eyed fairskin male if he had a good character. I hope this answers your question. |

A few people know about what I've said lately about what's been happening with me and my girlfriend, but I haven't told the entire truth. I need someone's help, though I know I don't deserve it, I would like somebody to open their heart and help me...here's what happened... My girlfriend's phone has been messing up, so she says, so I've been emailing her and she's emailed back sometimes. I sent her an email and after awhile I was thinking she wasn't getting them (here's where I made the mistake of a lifetime) so I logged into her email to see if she got them (first bad move). She did... Than, for some divine or hellashis reason I checked the emails she's sent...(Lord forgive me for my foolishness) and there I found one saying to her ex-bf "I want to spend more time with you and possibly start a relationship" -- she sent it Thursday Night. She called me that night and I confronted her about it (of course she was mad as hell about what I did) and she kept throwing it back in my face saying she may or may not have sent it. I basically begged for forgiveness, and after awhile she just said call me in a few days. Well, today (that happened last night) she called me, and she said she was thinking about me all day and wanted to talk to me. We talked for awhile, than talked again earlier tonight. After awhile she got mad again and hung up on me. I was so mad I texted her saying we were done, than she calls me back and says she's crying because she never planned on breaking up with me, even though she threatened 3 times to do it last night. Than we kept talking and I again begged her to let me stay, and after awhile she said we are seperated but not broken up, and 1 week from today we will talk again....that's where we are now. I find out the reason she's been upset is she feels I've been smothering her and I realize now I have been, but it's my first relationship, I don't know what the hell I'm doing. This is my first relationship ever, and I am as inexperienced as anybody can be. I am young and so God damn stupid. I know what I did was bad, very very bad, and I deceited and disrespected her so much by doing it, but the things I found out are almost directly saying she had plans to cheat on me and that she was seeing other guys for at least a few weeks. I am so f*cked up over this I'm physically ill now...we've only been together 2 months but to me it's been like 2 years... Please...somebody help me...please... I'm so sorry............ Yes, what you did was wrong, but it was also understandable. I suspectt that the real reason she was upset had to do with her being caught. Do yourself a favor and move on. She is bad news. She will just keep playing you for a fool. If she truly loved you, she would not be playing these games. Good luck and Take Care, Alexia. |

I call him a kid but he's 20, and anyway, he's kind of mentally challenged and stuff, but I don't particularly like him, but he calls me ALL THE TIME! I seriously regret giving him my number, but he was new and looked kinda lonely so I thought hey give him someone to talk to, but apparently even though we have only seen each other once, he calls me all the freaking time and talks only about himself never lets me get a word in. And now I find out he likes me "more than a friend" and is sending me his love and care, and apparently all of his heart so he wrote in a message. Help? Honey your 18...hes older than you.... I know but he acts like a kid so he's a kid in my eyes. Ding Ding Ding...its time for you to be an adult I couldn't agree more!

If he really is mentally challenged as you stated, then you need to keep in perpective "what age is he mentally?" Most likely, he has a mild crush on you. If you can't handle that then you need to break off all contact. He will be better off if you do. He may be hurt for a bit, but the truth is he WILL get over you. The real question is will you get over someone getting over you?

What is your opinion of people who are able to work, but sit home and collect unemployment due to laziness? I think that it is easy to make assumptions without considering all the facts. I think it is something that should be judge on a case by case basis. |
