Can you say free ride? Or meal ticket? Sounds to me like she thinks she
has found one or the other.

Anybody notice that he deactivated his acct? Guess he decided to go play

The smell of a mechanic after a day at work...it reminds me of my dad.

Another over 40 woman here. I'm just here for the free food...and the
half gazillion guys in their 40's......j/k.

A nosey neighbor was sitting on his porch watching one day,when he saw
police cars race by and stop at the home of his neighbor.
A few minutes later the fire department races by. Next comes the
rescue squad.
By this time he can't stand not knowing swo he calls his neighbor.
The phone is answered by a child speaking in a whisper.The man asks if
everything is okay and the child replies yes.
The man then asks the child why he is whispering and why all the
people are at his house,to which the child replies "because they are
looking for me".

Maybe #9 should be: When you instant message your roommate so you don't
have to leave your computer to tell them something.

Hmmm....after rereading the forum rules I gotta wonder how long this
topic will be around.

I don't know the stats on it but it does happen to kids 0-3. Pick up a
copy of "When Rabbit Howls" by Truddi Chase. It is a great example of
how being abused as a very young child can have a profound effect on the
adult that child will become.

I'm not trying to add fuel to the fire or keep the fight going but
thank God her older children were not there to see him drag her out of a
vehicle when she was 6 1/2 months pregnant. And yes I was there for
that. I was the one that kept the 2 older ones while she was in the
hospital at 8 months having an emergency c-section in which we almost
lost both of them.

He continues to call her because like many abusive men he is also
obsessive and still considers her as his. And they have a child so she
feels the need to accept his calls. I have and continue to pray for him.
And while I do hope he is okay I still can't help but see the humor in
it.

In general it isnt funny,but since he is,or was, an abusive spouse I
rather feel it is a sort of payback.

For sure....you know I will.
