I was looking forward to hearing what others believe in, to learn the
views of another, to understand. I will keep checking back to see what
people post and hope to read more about other religions, other views,
other perspectives, from across the globe.

Is a really good question jess. Have been wondering about that myself.
While I am open to it, I get butterflies in my stomach sometimes, when I
think about being in a relationship again. Have been single for quite
some time, not in a hurry to be in a relationship just for the sake of
being in one but am certainly not avoiding one.

For me, trust is probably the biggest factor for me. Not just in the
other person, but trust in myself, that I am capable of being in a
committed relationship, to let someone in, for all the right reasons.
The next relationship I am in, are with the intent and hopes it will be
the last one. Does that make any sense?

I would have to agree that the teachers do NOT practice nor endorse a
personal or specific religion. I believe that not everyone has a
personal agenda. The whole intent is not to teach a religion, but to
expose students to all religious views. Teachers and schools may not
impose any particular view. In this day and age, it can be done and is
being done.

Exposing and educating children and yound adults of the many different
views, diversity and perspecitives is a postive thing. I think this
could be said about their education as a whole to be honest.

Mike....this was a great thread, so people can share and learn about
eachother. Good idea.....

I think it's a great concept, and long overdue. Children and young
adult's need as much information of the past and present to form their
own opinions and find their own beliefs. Diverse knowledge aids in the
development of a healthy, well rounded mind. Knowledge is power versus
being narrow or closed minded. How can that ever be a negative....

And you're right Lori....if parent's or young adults want more, they can
seek it, or not.

Very ture in anything you give your money too. But, this is using IM,
don't pay a cent......costs nothing. Everytime you use your instant
messenger, Microsoft gives money to your choice organization from the
list.

OK...ran out of fire wood. No....I'm not throwing in the hat, lol.
Cloud's have moved in, gone is the sun! Is perfect bonfire
evening......will sit around watching the last of the fire, sipping
Bailey's in hot tea. Sure would be nice to have some Smore's right
