We had words.
Our voices only
heard as a faint
memory.
We used to
clearly see,
believing
love conquers all.
Some say love does,
yet we hit a wall.
Invisible to
the naked eye,
it seemed nothing.
Over and over again
like a Zen mantra,
we tried.
Maybe we tried
too hard,
moving too far
from at ease, from
the simple peace
of knowing all
things move in a
certain flow.
Who knows?
I don't.
No use postponing
the inevitable,
I suppose.
But known to my

Like a stone thrown
into the ocean,
