13" widescreen, minimum specs with a student discount (I'm taking classes toward an MBA)....
standard price was $899, $100 off for a student... it's the pro's that are expensive, 17" pro with good specs is closer to 3k... $.02 |

I guess Im spoiled. Right now my L/T is 17' high def wide screen. The smallest Macbook is almost $3,000. Thats why I liked the I-pad so much its all screen. I cant wait to get to Canada and jump into all the big box stores I love catching up on techie stuff when Im there.( Im such a geek) Im just po'ed about having to invest in another L/T when this one is only about a yr. old! But I truly hate Vista and want to get away from it. all these women talking tech, it's really working for me!... p.s. I purchased my macbook (not pro) for $799.00USD $.02 |

built in MIC = yes, built in speaker = yes, built in camera = no :(... http://www.apple.com/ipad/specs/ $.02 How odd that it has a mic yet no cam I agree, in my opinion, it was a major blunder not to include a camera.... yet another reason for me to wait for the next version to release LOL! $.02 Thats what I was thinking...for me its about a window of opportunity. Im flying to Can. on Fri. Im returning to Mex. in Oct. soooo if I dont buy one now, it will have to wait until I return to Can. I dont think I can live with Vista for another year....sigh...its a dilemma. windows 7 aint so bad!.... $.02 |

Im thinking about buying one also and making the leap from Windows to Mac. The kicker for me has been Vista. Im truly fed up! My kids have been Mac for a few years and love it! My concerns are this, I beta-test video games and Im not sure they would be compatable. Also I use Skype constantly and the thought of a sleek puter like I-pad haveing to use clunky external cam/mic just strikes me as Meh! The iPad isn't a full computer, it's more like a giant iPod. Almost all Mac products (iphone, imac, ipad, macbooks) have built in cams and mics for skyping. The I-Pad doesnt have built in cam/mic. My biggest concern is game compatibility. I can keep this laptop to use for Skype if need be. Well you can't game on an iPad, it's not an actual computer. and I'm shocked it doesn't have a cam when they put one in EVERYTHING else lol. alas, you CAN game on it... many, many games released for iPad... although you CANNOT load PC games on it (it's not a PC) or MAC games (it's NOT a MAC)... aspahlt 5 HD, scrabble, F1 2010... Angry Birds!!! LOL, Doodlebug!... $.02 |

I too am a mac user, iTouch, iPhone, iMac, Macbook.... yada yada... love 'em for all the same reasons you do.... my personl opinion on the iPad: Pro's 1. mucho cool factor 2. run fast 3. looks great 4. it's like a "big iPhone".... 5. apps load easy, many available, beautiful to look at, comfortable to hold... ect... 6. everything you would expect from the iPhone, in a larger and equally elegant form factor... Con - why havent I bought one yet?/ 1. the main reason, i am more comfortable with my Macbook on the couch, I mean, it's just not comfortable for me to hold for a long period of time 2. WiFi connection issues - yes, they happen... yes it is frustrating, unless you get the 3G version (which can connect to Cellular)... it's akin to the "iTouch, iPhone" argument... I mean, who wants a mobile device that is not connected all the time? 3. the fact that you can buy a dell "Netbook" and load OSX on it - gives you the best of all worlds, light form factor, comfortable to use, and runs OSX... Hope my opinions gave you some new angles to consider! $.02 THANX ... That is such great info ... good help! Would ya mind expanding a bit on the OSX into a Dell laptop suggestion, please??? Never heard of it ... But, consider the source ... I'm a cottage industry Natural Medicine Doc, NOT at all techie ... TOTAL Dweebtard there., obviously... That sounds quite affordable ... Is this the new common??? Any info is greatly appreciated! It's really not that difficult, just buy the stuff if you know a decent techie - pay him with beer or a dinner and whalllah!... http://gizmodo.com/5156903/how-to-hackintosh-a-dell-mini-9-into-the-ultimate-os-x-netbook @.02 |

Is it possible to have a happy ending when in love with a married man that you want him to stay with his wife but still want him as a lover, friend etc.... But that is getting way ahead I don't know that he loves me or that I love him Hmmmmmm..... you said both *sigh* $.02 |
|
|
|
frankly... *sigh*
your posts lack consistency on most points except for one, you want sex with him... you started off sayin' you love him, then by page 2 you say you dont love him, yada yada... but you just want him all the time... you say you don't want to hurt his family, but you already have... you take no repsonsibility for your own actions... until you get the help you need your life will always be like this.... good luck to you.... $.02 |

the other night my daughter (6 years old), ask me why my bf wasnt coming around no more, i told her that we broke up.. and she ask me why did i want to date someone anyway.. she said "mom.. why cant it just be me and you, we are fun, we do stuff, do we really need someone else??? " and honestly i dont even know wat to say to her, i am sure i come up with an answer to pacify her enough for that night, but i want a good reason to give to her.. and i dont know how to explain it to a child.. anyone that can help and put it in words that a child can understand i would appreciate it.. perhaps your child was right? at least for now..... $.02 |

My particular take on marriage is that it is a bit of a mind fawk. Seems like most married people I know are pretty miserable/ bored. Marriage = you don't have to try anymore? You let yourself go because the other person can't go anywhere? Same ole sex all the time because really that's what you signed up for? There's no clause in a marriage "contract" that says you have to find new and exciting ways to please your spouse. It's not socially acceptable to act certain ways because you're married. Maybe it's just your spouse putting the lock down on you because, simply put, they can. But my MAIN gripe about marriage is that you are entering into legal contract that could potentially effect you for the rest of your life based on just your feelings at that time. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, am I the only one who thinks the way you feel about someone should not be tied to your credit score/ finances/ bank account? When the rest of the world is out getting married and making babies and I will continue to sit in my little corner saying different strokes, for different folks... it just sounds like marriage is not for you is all, I don't think it's right or wrong one way or the other... I think many married people are not happy becuase they do not understand themselves, are not mature enough to evaluate what they really want (as you seem to be able too) or are too busy trying to please everyone else and not being true to who they really are. $.02 |
