I donno...I don't think that what a person has or doesn't have is what defines them.

That being said... Trying to start a relationship with someone who can't travel from point A to point B for even the simplest of things, without some help, is not going to make things any easier. Doesn't make them less love worthy. It does make them more of a pain in the @$$.

This would be it, exactly for me.

Should have had two gay men doing the same to be fair.

I think it is a wonderful thing to see that people who love each other can now show it with no worry of repercussions.

The article I read said that its usually done by a raffle drawing, so eventually we may see two gay men.

I thought it was a great photo!

In the past it is usually done by raffle, but I dont know if this time it was or if it was just a photo op for the Obama Admin.

No, the article said it was done by raffle. She had dropped $50 bucks in for 50 tickets, and was totally surprised when picked, since most folks drop in far more money for more tickets.

I'd say it depends where you live. If you're in a city that has excellent public transportation and easy access to taxi's and such, then his expecting you to have a car might seem silly. If you're farther out, or small town or whatever, then I could see him thinking its a problem.

I know for me, it has come down to the guy wanting to be driven all over. If I'm going that way originally, its not a problem, but otherwise its inconvienent, and I have no problem saying so.

I always use, "You/They will be in my thoughts". Folks want to know that their family members are cared about and letting them know you're thinking about them gives them that support. Some would call it prayer, since one is focusing one's energy on them, even if it's just a thought.

Physical work. I prefer the chainsaw and cutting up downed trees, but the axe can come in handy. Driving T-posts, etc. Depending on just how stressed, jumping on the horse and going for a ride helps too. Goofy horse can make one laugh...

My dad got a deferment as a necessity with the farm. His farm family helped with it.
