When it comes down to it people, it the way most are brought up and as advertiesments go and tv thin is beautiiful and that has been an on going thing since radio first started. If your not thin you not beautiful. Hell sex is use more then anything as far as advertiesing goes and do you see anthing other then thin women on them?? no because your mind was traind from as a child what is and isn't beautiful.

why is it so important for a women to have a sexy body? Or to be skinny? Did you know that 65% of women are considered overweight?  99.99% of women are beautiful though.

To each their own, I say. I'm not attractive to those who like to see more bone...or those who like a little more curves. There is a reason for all these shapes and sizes and it's because we all find something different appealing. If you're comfortable in your skin is what's the most important thing about your shape or size. Very good answer!!! |

It's pretty sad when this thread was directed towards men and asking them why it is so important for women to be skinny, and it turns into a cat fight between women right or wrong it usually happens when there are specifics given instead of asking maybe...what do men want in a women and why. I have seen many threads on this topic where the OP asks specifically about skinny women. that usually provokes jokes or fights. IMHO |

I have a question that I have asked in emails to people but I wanted to ask it here....just as a question
what would the outcome be if I posted a thread about why do most guys like women with more "cushion for the pushin", "more to love" or someone a guy can have sex with without being poked by ribs....some of the comments I've heard....not my opinions just a question if I would get the same responses or ignored or bashing for doing a thread like that |

Ya know I hate to blame TV on things but I think it plays a huge part in this crap.. little boys are told from the time they have the attention and focus to watch a tv program(like 30 i think kidding) that women ar SUPPOSED to look like Barbies... that just isnt the case.. the average size of a woman in the USA is 14... believe it or not!! |

I know it's trite and obvious, but (I think) it goes for both genders....unfortunately our own insecurities causes our insecurities to come true.
