I HATE men like him.

You dispise honesty? Everyone has their likes/dislike. I don't like it when a woman tels me I am not her type, but I do not hate her for it. Dating services are not like looking through a catalog, picking out a person you like, and they automatically fall for you. In my opinion they allow a person to be more selective about people, not to settle for anyone who is attracted to you. You are not going to be everyones tye for a number of reasons, and if they don't like larger women, it is their right. You are better off they tell you upfront, than lead you on. People should be more correct in their body type listing too. A lot of biger women put average in as their body type, and a ffew extra pounds when they are LARGE. Food for thought, and just my $.02

Rob - no one is saying the guy has to go out with women he is not attracted to. He just didn't need to call her names.

I agree Rob... I think everyone is entitled to their opinions, likes and dislikes. No one has to like anyone, but you don't have to be rude either is all I was trying to say

No, I do not despise honesty. I despise rude people. Perhaps he prefers smaller women. Good for him! However, do you not think that he could have voiced his opinion to this woman in a more polite manner?

Plus, I just feel that people should be more open-minded. I feel that too many people these days look at us bigger people as not even being people, at all... Or worth their time.

the other problem is - there are no standardized measures for what constitutes large, few extra pounds, etc. There are no numbers on there. One man's fluffy is another man's large.I don't think people are trying to deceive so much as they honestly don't know what category they fall into. And I guess some of us thought it didn't matter. I never look at that.

Oh I agree. I am a **** on the forums for sure, but I never go out of my way to hurt a persons feelings. I always break it down as easy as I can, but some people do go ballistic when rejected. I have been rejected a number of times as well, but I just move on. Sorry if I was unclear, calling people names over their weight is not acceptable

I understand that a larger woman may not be everyone's cup of tea. Yes and honesty up front is great. But I would never reply to anyone with a turndown that is so stated so poorly. TACT and RESPECT is something everyone should use just like please and thank you. And if you look at my profile. I do not state that I am average or a few extra pounds. I would rather someone not write me back than to say 'because you're fat'. I see myself in the shower every day....I know how big I am. Geez

I guess I should have read more before I responded. I would bust a man in his mouth for being rude to any woman if it was unwarranted, regardless of reason. I spent two years fighting charges over busting a guy up at wal-mart for hassling a woman over buying tampons

Rob, you do bring up a good point. Some people do get way outta hand over rejections and can take some things waaaay to personal. When you reject someone, no matter the reason, it's hard to estimate how they are gonna react
